Date single man from Colorado, United States. So here I am, starting a new chapter in my life. I've been an elementary school teacher for eight years (the past three at a charter school in Ann Arbor, Michigan), but now I find myself heading back to graduate school (starting this summer at CSU) to pursue a degree in school counseling. It's extremely exciting, yet terrifying at the same time! Anyway, here's a little about me and who I'm looking for: I'm an avid runner (would love to find a running buddy)... I'm a graduate of Michigan State University and I bleed green and white during the college football and basketball seasons... I love to be outdoors, and I enjoy hiking, biking, and camping... but I also enjoy just hanging out at home, making dinner... having some wine... or ordering pizza and watching a movie. I also really enjoy checking out the craft beer scene, and I love heading out to the local brewpubs and experiencing the great local, hand-craft beers on tap. I'm very interested in current events, and I stay up to date with the news and events taking place in Washington, D.C. - even though it's terribly frustrating at times. I'm just looking for someone nice to have coffee with... grab a beer with... enjoy a movie with... go for a run with... grab a bite to eat with. The elementary school teacher in me is screaming about the fact that all of those phrases end with a preposition... but I'm not sure how much proper grammar really matters here anyway. If you're interested, I'd love to hear from you!
Meet a soulmate from Colorado, United States. Some would say I have a problem being serious, however like myself, life is too short. I often like to pretend I am a fully healed former dyslexic person who had no problems reading. I also don't understand my own jokes half the time, but that's not going to stop me to telling them. I do like to make people laugh however I don't want to be the center of attention. My fear is that once everyone is looking at me, they will start to feel much worse about themselves and I can't have that on my conscience. I feel modesty is important.... along with sarcasm. I often wonder "at what age do you tell a highway it was adopted?" Hopefully you enjoyed this random blurb. However I did have fun writing it! :)
I do enjoy creatively writing, so being a bit more serious about myself is a challenge, but here it goes. Living an active lifestyle is very much a part of my life. I play several team sports which also doubles as the majority of my social activities as well. I'm the oldest of 3, so I kind of have that protective older brother characteristic engrained in me. I'm an atrocious speller, but thankfully work on a mac, so it always is kind enough to tell me to try again. When I'm not playing sports, I like to grill in the back yard with friends, go on hikes with my 11 year old puppy (like me she chose not to grow up, just grow old), read and I do enjoying cooking... Even though I'm what some call a picky eater.
Now onto the egocentric stuff, I'm very loyal to the people in my life and won't say no to a friend in need of help. I am a funny guy and don't take myself too seriously, however my humor is very dry and witty so it can take people a while to catch up. So you're probably not the only one who didn't get most of the jokes.. ;-)
Date a man from Colorado, United States. Well, I managed to get you to click on my profile, now let's see if I can make it interesting enough for you to ready the whole thing...
It's impossible to give a full description of myself (or anyone else) in this little box, so I'll hit the key points!
I'm a laid back, easy going guy, who enjoys spending time with friends and family. (After I wrote that last sentence I now realize that's probably what everybody says about themselves... but its still true!) Even though I'm easy going, I have no problem taking charge when necessary. I'll step up and be the leader, when one is needed.
Currently, I'm working in Web Development. I got my bachelor's degree about a year ago and I'm now working towards a career as an actuary( if you don't know what that is, they basically work with statistics, finance, and other such riveting things).
I consider myself to be a fairly intelligent (hopefully you would agree.) While you needn't have a Ph.D (although it wouldn't hurt, I am ok with you being smarter than me!), I would prefer a date who can hold her own in a conversation.
I try to stay active doing things like running/walking with the pup, volleyball(duh!), bowling(ok, so this one isn't so "active"), hiking, biking, Judo, etc.
Going out to a bar or seeing live music is always fun. I also like the plain old dinner and a movie type evening.
Well, now it sounds like I'm out exercising or going places non-stop. I actually like to hang out at home too. I'd love to find someone who is perfectly happy staying in, cuddling on the couch with a good movie.
I also love games of all types. That includes bar games(pool, darts), card games, board games, video games, ping pong, and pretty much anything else. Activities that get a group of friends talking and having fun are great. I'm fine with just sitting around on the porch with friends too.
If you've made it this far you have probably noticed how I tend to use parenthesis way too much when writing something like this. Sorry about that!
One more thing... I am a bit of an introvert. While I don't consider that a bad thing, don't expect me to be the guy dominating a conversation at a party.
Feel free to hit me up with a wink or a message if you feel like chatting.
Meet people from Colorado, United States. If I had to sum myself up in a phrase, I?d say I?m a family guy ? no kids yet, but I?d love to have some one day, and that?s, in a nutshell, why I?m here. I?m looking for the long term and I?d love to meet the girl I?ll spend the rest of my life with, but I?d like to start low key. Friendship is ideal --- just spending time getting to know each other. I tend to be shy at first, but I do open up once you get to know me. I love intimacy and think I am a very passionate person (may sound corny, but I love romance. I would love to find someone who is the same). I'm that guy who opens doors for you, spoils you rotten and brings you unexpected surprises. I?m into someone who has strong values, is honest and friendly ? someone who is loyal, caring and interested in the feelings of others. Physically, what attracts me most to a person is her smile, but it?s those things that come from somewhere within that really mean the most to me ? how she acts around others ? does she make others smile and is she humble and selfless. If this sounds like you, let?s talk.
Date someone special from Colorado, United States. Hi! Im Brian. Im grew up in Ohio and moved to Colorado in 04. I also spent some time in Portland Oregon as well but have really found a home here in Denver. Im a season ticket holder for the Rockies so liking baseball is a must. As much as I like baseball, football is my favorite sport to follow. Im a big Ohio State fan and Cincinnati Bengal fan as well. I dont get a chance to travel much but I do enjoy my annual Vegas trip. Then again who doesnt enjoy Vegas. Im easy going and can get along with almost anyone but there is always that impossible person. I do enjoy hole in the wall bars but can lay on the couch and just relax as well. I like taking hikes with my dog and watching her chase geese at the lake. I try to catch at least one concert a summer but would like to see more. I'm trying to get back into mountain biking this summer and just took up frisbee golf! Real golf is more my game though! I'm tired of looking for the woman for me in all the wrong places so Im giving this a shot! Looking forward to hearing from you!
Meet men and women from Colorado, United States. About me: I just moved to Denver and recently bought a house to settle into. I love the outdoors and anything that has to do with it. Summertime you can find me on the bike trails or up in the mountains hiking and camping. As for the winters I now understand what snowboarding in the Rockies is all about and I can not get enough of it! I am an honest, caring man and know what I am about. I just started a great career here and enjoy exploring new things and places. I will usually be the first to make fun of myself if warranted, which for the most part, it usually is. I moved here without knowing anyone and have met some great people so far but would like to experience it with a special someone. This is my first shot at online dating and not quite sure what to expect...
About My Date: I am looking for someone I can explore this world with and experience new things. Being into outdoor activities is a huge plus and having a personality that can push me to new heights is also a bonus (as I will do the same). Looking for someone that is not afraid of who they are and know what they want in life.
Date single man from United States. I'm a down to earth, low key guy, looking to spend time with an intelligent beautiful woman. Or should I say more particularly "share" time. You know, the back and forth and conversations that spark ideas, thoughts, and good feelings. I miss the getting to know each other period and since I'm kinda new here I think it would be even better to explore and talk with some one new. I enjoy all kinds of music, can't really say I have a particular type, sometimes you have no control over what strikes a chord with your soul right? I think finding your counterpart is similar. I take care of myself, workout, work hard, and eat healthy. I look forward to seeing whats out there. Its taken me a lot of ups and down to get to where I am now but I think it has made me a better man. I try never to lose the fervor of wanting to be a stronger better man and individual and help those that are unable to help themselves.
Meet a soulmate from United States. I just want to check this site out and see what all the hype is. I don't really feel like filling this section out until I get a chance to see how well it really works. Is that kinda messed up or not?
Date a man from United States. I'm looking to have fun! This is an opportunity to meet new people and hopefully find someone that enjoys the same things I do.
Feel free to chat if you think your the type of person that would like to have fun.
Meet people from United States. Looking for connections, whether it be friends or more. I'm the quiet guy at first, but usually open up after getting to know the person better. Looking for someone who isn't afraid of the unknown and willing to explore.
Date someone special from United States. The only thing I can hope for, from this whole experience is some laughter and some smiles everything else will be a journey to be shared.
I understand and cherish the benefits of a long-term relationship and all the ups and downs it can bring. I am looking for someone I can just "be" with and enjoy the here and "now" hopefully in a long-term relationship.
Meet men and women from United States. My group of friends and I can be a bit of a handful and I've found that some girls I have dated find it a bit overwhelming. Im looking for someone with a sense of humor and can handle some sarcasm and dish it out too. I like spontaneity and living moment to moment. I spend most of my winter weekends snowboarding and my summer weekends at the lake/camping/bbq'n
