I am a person who is very thankful for the great relationships with family and friends and also very greatful for major positive changes I've had in my life in the last 2 years. I am a much happier and healthier person now compared to 2 years ago thanks to exercise, quitting smoking, quitting drinking and hiking. In the last 2 years I've hiked 14ers, 13ers, am consistently exercising 3 to 4 times per week and enjoy traveling around Colorado and experiencing our great mountain towns like Telluride, Aspen, Summit County, Steamboat, Crested Butte, the san juan mountain range and love enjoying the raw beauty that Colorado has. Exercise is a huge part of my life to try and maintain as healthy lifestyle as I can and it is something I definitely enjoy. Whether I'm just hitting the weights and doing circuits of cardio, upper and lower body or doing personal training, pilates, zumba and kinesis it is something that always keeps my spirits high. In general I am a very positive guy. Of course, I've had my moments where stress may get the better of me, but they're really few and far between and I believe going through life with a positive attitude is much better than complaining about every small thing that doesn't go your way.
Photography is a huge hobby of mine and I love capturing the images and seeing the positive reactions from friend's and family when they see them. Reaching the summit of a 14er is one of the greatest feelings because of the challenges you have to overcome to get their (both physical and mental) and hopefully someday I'll be able to say that I've done them all. I haven't been to that many concerts, but when I have gone I've always had a good time at them and definitely think they're a great way to go out and have fun. Other major interest are sports, cooking, travel, skiing and eating out. I do enjoy watching sports on TV, but definitely enjoy going to games more and definitely go to my fair share of nuggets and broncos games. Additionally, when I'm at home, yes I will watch espn sometime, but really love the foodnetwork and picking up tips on how to be creative and flavorful with food combinations, while also trying to maintain that balance of trying to be healthy.
International travel is something I really enjoy as well. I lived in Europe for 1 year between 2001 and 2002 while doing an internship in Estonia after my junior year of college and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I met so many great friends that I want to go back and visit soon and also have major aspirations of visiting places like Fiji, New Zealand, Peru, Chile, Switzerland, Italy, Malta and Hawaii to name a few. I'm looking for someone who has aspirations like these and knows what they want out of life, but also someone that has different personality characteristics to keep things fun and conversation meaningful. I love what I do, but also love enjoying life and if it's possible to find the right person to enjoy them together, then that would be even better.

About me: During the week I work, play indoor soccer and hang out with friends. On the weekends I'm usually skiing or biking and having fun. I love going to Rockies games, although this is clearly not their season. But it is nice to go have a couple beers at the stadium.
I know everyone on match.com loves to talk about how active they are, but I think hiking and snowshoeing are lame. Maybe I should give them another try. And just for the record, I am pretty active. I run a couple half marathons each year, ride the MS 150 every year and did my first triathlon last year.
I'm giving this a try just like a lot of other people and so far it's been interesting.

Date people from United States. So I successfully faked my way through the first day of being a high school track coach. I'm guessing it was something other than my extensive personal track career (5th grade Relay Team) that got me the job. Anyhow, day two rolled around, and it was time to head to the weight room to show some high school punks what was up. As a fitness enthusiast, I actually know my way around the weight room, so I was looking forward to showing off a bit. Poised to blow their young minds with my supreme knowledge, impeccable form, and amazing athletic prowess, I positioned myself to execute the most beautiful squat jump anyone had ever seen. Gracefully leaping what had to be twenty feet into the air, I was just about to explain the proper way to land as I quickly returned to the ground. Before any words left my mouth, I watched my ankle slowly start to give way underneath my sweet new running shoes. My knee quickly followed suit, and an incredible SNAP! echoed through the weight room. All of the kids were staring at me with looks of horror, and since their is no crying in track, I simply found myself uttering "that's how you completely destroy your ACL." I had surgery two weeks later, and spent the entire season on crutches.

I like long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, holding hands in the park, opening doors............alright, I might be messing with you a little. :) Not sure what to write here, but I guess I'll give it a go. I am an educated professional who has a pretty successful career. I'm serious about my work, but certainly do not live to work. I'm honest, intelligent, loyal, and a man of my word. I have a niece and 2 nephews whom I absolutely adore. Just wish they weren't so far away. My career has allowed me to experience many new things and live several new places. I was born in Nebraska, and since college, have lived in several different places due to my pursuit of career opportunities. I just recently moved to Denver from Dallas, and am trying explore all that it has to offer. I've made several really great friends along the way, just wish I could get them all to Denver. I love being outdoors, whether it be a weekend camping, a day at the lake, golfing, hunting, fishing, or at a stadium watching a good college football game. I like cooking, grilling is cooking, right?!?! I also love to travel, but traveling alone isn't near as much fun as doing so with someone special. Last minute road trips can even be more fun than a well thought out vacation.
Why am I here? Well I guess I find this method more effective and efficient than the typical bar scene. When I go to the bars I want to hang out with my friends, or watch the game, not try and talk to every girl in the place. I'm not into the club scene, and much prefer the pub if going out, but also love an evening with friends hanging out on my patio when the weather is right.
What am I looking for? I want to be with someone who is my best friend. Someone to share my passions with and explore new things with as well. I'm an independent person but appreciate the ability of a woman to make me a better person. Honesty is probably the most important virtue that you can possess.
