Date a soulmate from San Clemente, United States. Who am I? I'm a very open, hard working, educated, funny, good listener, loyal, father of two amazing kids. I love to laugh and seeing a smile on someone's face goes a long way. Life happens fast and not always how you expect, but if you can learn to find that silver lining and laugh at yourself and your mistakes things will be just fine.
I don't seem to go to the right places to meet that special someone. I'm not sure where exactly that is either.
Recently, I have taken the time to start enjoying the views and sunsets. It's not a bad way to spend a quiet night, especially when you can hang with a couple buds. Light with lime. Not my first choice, but it's what I have in the fridge at the moment. I am not a big drinker but I enjoy happy hour with a friend. Sundried Tomatoes in San Clemente is a favorite spot of ours.
I grew up in the midwest, Missouri, and have lived out in the OC since 1998. I barely remember life before living in Cali, but it was a good life. Cold and humid, but good! :)
So what do I like to do... Working seem to supersede everything lately. I enjoy playing golf, working out, bike riding, playing with the kids, and hanging with friends chilling or watching a game over a couple brews.
Being a midwesterner by nature I can talk to almost anyone about anything. Communication, humor, honesty, and a willingness to grow as a person are keys to any relationship.
Always continue learning and trying to better myself. I am not perfect by any stretch, but I am not one to pass judgment on others either. I am a christian, but I'm by no means a fanatic and I fall short daily.

Meet someone special from San Clemente, United States. I'm originally from Pennsylvania, so am a big Steelers fan. Try and get back east a few times a year to visit family and friends.

I have a quirky sense of humor, but am very quick, and a bit sarcastic. I read a lot, so I usually have good "current" materials, and also am comfortable in most any crowd. I manage a golf course, and recently started my own management company, so I'm busy at work, but it's a lot of fun.
I adopted a dog last summer (see photos above, haha, he's a "lab mix") and he takes me for a walk every day. We (the dog and I) live near the beach trail in San Clemente, so it's nice, great way to end the day, watching the sunset with my best friend. He's maybe not the brightest dog, (or maybe it's my training?) but he is a great dog, and despite his intimidating look, and ferocious bark, he's more likely to lick you to death.
I have a big family, and am very close to all of them. One of my nephews got me to play hockey with him in a league, (I played when I was in college) and we have a great time doing that. We also are working on restoring a 1969 Chevelle together.
I enjoy most outdoor activities, volleyball, golf, tennis, inline hockey, riding my bike, kayaking, and my motorcycle...
I'm a good cook, but usually stick to doing BBQ meals, it's less work and cleanup.

I am a Socal transplant from New York (my second go round) and am new to South OC. I rather get out and do things, instead of bar hopping- so checking out match.com to broaden my horizons. I travel in Socal during the week and enjoy a challenging and rewarding career that has given me a chance to put my roots down for good in CA! As a transplant, that is important, knowing hat my career will keep me here or Hawaii in the future. I live @ the beach in San Clemente, and could not live in a more desirable location. I love it, footsteps to the beach, the ONLY way to live! I have lived in LA (I loveee LA!) and San Diego,and enjoy traveling to those places for concerts and seeing good friends I have made along the way.I travel often, and look forward to travelling to Europe, its long overdue!

I guess in general, I am looking for someone who enjoys California's beautiful days, as well as fun nights! I have lived in a few different states, and California has them ALL beat!
I love sports, play in two softball leagues, took up Yoga last year, and enjoy the surf most of all! Meet single man from San Clemente, United States. I'm honest to a fault. I love my two kids more than I ever thought possible...but I don't expect anyone else to as much as I do. It would be a big plus, though. I love laughing, but not as much as making others laugh - I can be a complete goofball or witty and sarcastic, depending on the day. I enjoy tinkering with things. I think material belongings are temporary ways to fill voids in our lives. As such, I'm not wealthy in a financial sense, nor do I ever wish to be. If you're looking for someone to shower you with extravagance, I'm not your guy. If you want to laugh every day and feel loved, however, then I just might be. I just read "The Purpose Driven Life" and found a good portion of it very worthwhile. I've always tried to give back to the community, and think more people should. I constantly question why I was born where I was - and not somewhere else. Especially after watching the news sometimes. I'm terrified of rollercoasters. I'm very affectionate (not a Mr. Grabby-pants, but I do like holding hands, hugs, deep & meaningful kisses, and generally acting much younger than I am...at least with that special someone). I don't text too much, but love technology otherwise. I can wire a new ceiling fan, upgrade your computer's memory, or change your car's brakes. Sexy, huh? Yeah, not so much. But handy! I love movies with a twist...like Memento or Shawshank Redemption. Will Ferrell and Tina Fey are hilarious. I'm not so much into watching sports, but relationships are about compromises, aren't they? : ). Life is good...I just want to share it with someone special. Grow old together. Princess Bride-stuff...happily ever after, maybe a bit cheesy, but true.
Update1: regarding the separation - it's been over two years, paperwork is filed. Just waiting for a job w/ benefits to come through for my ex before making it final. I won't leave her without medical insurance - not after the sacrifices (her career) she made for me during marriage. It is a very amicable situation, we've chosen to behave like adults because our two kids deserve that.
