Date single man from California, United States. CALIFORNIA STATE LAW requires that I disclose that I once had a mullet.
Legal disclaimer complete, let us proceed.
I offer you a frustrating mix of contradictions. For example, I am equally comfortable at a folk festival, art museum, military base, or a Japanese zen rock garden. I like trucker country, ancient blues, and acoustic coffehouse rock equally. I like protest rock but annoy when my favorite bands get political. I am always polite but traffic in sarcasm and wit to my brothers and coworkers. I grew up with big dogs but love the small ones, too. In fact, one of my favorite dogs was a little lost mutt my dad creatively dubbed, "Stray". Its been 20 years and I still miss him.
Also, I tend to step all over romantic moments but I'm really good at mundane moments.
I dig deep into art and music but I don't take it too seriously. I'm in it for the fun. For live music, I lean toward small venue jam bands but you'd never know it. Its the craftsmanship. I prefer the live bootleg of an excellent solo acoustic fingerpicker over any band's slick, professional studio recordings. Unless, of course, that band is Foghat.
I'm not inked anywhere on my body but I know what I'd get. I practice the designs during high-level business meetings. My best work comes to me when a client is making an important point. While appearing to be taking notes, I am in fact making perfecting my designs like "Zeppelin Rules!" or "GnR". I'm really good at making the Van Halen sign with the flared wings.
I was once bitten by a mean, old black lab. It left a scar on my left ring finger. Still, I love all animals. Especially the winged rats known as pigeons. They get all flustered and fly up in my face. I am so happy then!!
Family means a lot to me but they shouldn't. They're all a bunch of selfish bastards. Take for example my chain-smoking Vietnam vet dad. I once mixed up his metric and standard socket set. To this day I still cannot get the taste of his clumsy-handed discipline out of my mouth. Thanks to him I hate the combined scent of WD-40 and Old Spice.
Let's travel the world together! Imagine us strolling through Paris as you've always dreamed...our arms interlaced, your hand in my back denim pocket, mine in yours. In our suite we will sip champagne, eat chocolate covered strawberries (max three please) and, when the time is right, I'll bust out my signature move. Its like the TSA pat down you always wanted.
First, though, we stop by my cousin's trailer outside Pensacola.
My passport is stamped like grandma's fruitcake.
On a serious note, this city renews my imagination daily. The mix of personalities here is incredibly positive. A brief ride on the Muni 30 line is comical in its diversity. I've learn to read my adopted city. For example, I can make a decent estimation of a restaurant's quality by observing its kitchen prep staff on smoke break. Are they joking around and wear clean uniforms? Look for the head chef. Is he or she smoking 'n joking with the line staff? Good. The place is well-run and morale is high therefore the food will be excellent. I am infected by this city but I still honor my Midwestern heritage. (BTW...I re-grew that mullet! Its just in a less visible part of my body.)
The architecture is stunning. Each old building has a distinct character and keeps its lurid and dark secrets. The intricate, ornate buildings reveal vivid surface detail when viewed under late afternoon light. These visually narcotic moments occur all the time. Let's ban cars from SF and reclaim the streets for bikes and peds and make this a perfect city.
So if see me riding my bike and you're stuck at a traffic light, give me the bird! Or if you see me holding my new puppy in my arms and you come up to see it, but recoil in horror when you realize its a stuffed animal, its ok! At least we'll be talking. I see the love behind the scorn.

Meet a soulmate from United States. So, let's just get this out of the way...Yes, I'm separated and getting divorced. It's been relatively drama free and I beleive it will stay that way. I'm out on my own and am looking to move forward. Yes, I do hvae to awesome kids who are fun to be with. They are handling this well and pretty much just rock. Nowthe that's out of the way...
As for what I'm looking for...To be honest, obviously it's been awhile since dated and I'm not really looking to jump into a serious relationship, but if it happens it happens. I'm really just excited to meet for drinks and hopefully have some good conversations. I'm just looking for someone intelligent, fun and adventerous. I love to travel and hate being bored. That's not to say I have to always be on the go, I love throwing parties and hosting for friends (I'm pretty good in the kitchen and on the grill).
I'm as comfortable in a tuxedo as I am in jeans and a t-shirt. I'm someone who can build just about anything (I'm in construction) then get cleaned up and go out for an evening and discuss just about anything. I have a curious mind and like to ask questions. I also have a pretty sarcastic sense of humor and don't take life to serious. I'm very optimistic, almost to a fault.
I am a project manager for a construction company and tend to work a lot. Ialso travel a fair amount for work as the projects dictate.
I love to travel! I admit, I haven't done alot of it the past few years (except around the country for work) but I'm very excited for that to change. I already have my travel fund going and can't make up my mind where I want to go for my first trip. Suggestions anyone? Morocco, Spain and Thailand are in the top 5. Another thing, I believe you don't really know if your compatable with your partenr until you travel together. Think about that.
Hopefully this doesn't sound lame. I'm really quite new to this and not used to writing about myself.
Date someone special from United States. I live an active lifestyle. I enjoy day and weekend trips to Lake Tahoe, Napa, Santa Cruz, or any new place that I have not explored yet. I also like to work-out, snowboard, go wine tasting, going hiking, running, and mountain biking. I also enjoy trying new actives; I recently bought a mountain bike and enjoy exploring the exciting trails around my house.
One of my goals in life is to travel the world. It would be great to have someone to share theses experience with me.
If you think we might be a match, I would be open to meet for a drink or coffee.
Meet a man from United States. Easy going, fun loving, like to chill sometimes too, but mostly like to be active. Would love to spend some time to get to know a new person and see where it goes from there...it should be mutual. Easy going, fun loving, like to chill sometimes too, but mostly like to be active. Date single man from San Francisco, United States. I'm learning that life is more enjoyable when it is shared. You could say that I'm looking for my partner in crime. It's ok if you don't have a rap sheet.
I'm dedicated, friendly, independent, easy going, intellectual, kind, funny in my own quirky way. I like to laugh, get out and sample all that life has to offer.
If you're the type of individual who likes to have sore cheeks muscles from laughing too much, hang out in new locations, travel the world, break a sweat enjoying the great outdoors, and watch cheesy sci-fi movies, give me a ring. Quality sarcasm is a plus.
I’m rent-free so if you’re interested in trying me out, contact me and let's see what happens.
Meet a soulmate from San Francisco, United States. Most times you'll find me out on my bike either just getting around town or out for a nice long ride on the weekends. I've put more miles in on my bike this year than I have my car. That's not to say that I don't enjoy a good road trip though. The bay area has to have some of the most amazing places to ride, every time I get out on the road I'm left in awe.
I love to cook, though cooking for myself really isn't that much fun really. One of my favorite things is to cook with someone special. There's something special about cooking with someone you care about that just seems to make everything taste so much better.
Who am I looking for? Maybe you enjoy going on longish bike rides, or perhaps you like to go up to Napa and go wine tasting, or maybe spend the afternoon going to a museum or art gallery ... that should narrow it down some. But, honestly I'm looking for someone who's honest, caring and giving and up for a little adventure..
Date someone special from San Francisco, United States. Mix:

- Splash of lemon
Shake vigorously with ice and strain into a spotless highball. Garnish with a twist of quirky humor.
Then there are those other days I'm more like a JELL-O shot...
**********
I'm originally from NY but I've been savoring my time here in stunning San Francisco. When I'm not out with my friends dining, dancing or celebrating I enjoy hiking, running, cycling, or just popping into the local museums. An avid reader—particularly biography, history, and poetry—I'm also an insatiable music fan and at one time played sloppy drums in a college band. My musical tastes range from Radiohead to Brahms but my favorite bands are The Beatles, U2 and Sonic Youth. My closest friends would describe me as passionate, kind, and intelligent and I like to think of myself a realist with an optimistic tilt.
My ideal match: authentic, attractive, compassionate, intelligent, and optimistic. We share many passions but she also has interests of her own that she shares with me--I've learned a lot from my most meaningful relationships. Someone equally happy enjoying a quiet night making dinner and watching a movie together or having a legendary night out with friends.
Meet a man from San Francisco, United States. I am looking to see what the site has to offer and have no idea what my ideal match is. I have haven't dated in over a decade, so I am just wandering about trying to get a sense of how this stuff works.
