I'm an attorney, so most of my day I'm in the middle of conflicts, but I try not to take it home. Looking to do more travel. Have done some in Latin America, Spain, UK (London). Italy (Rome). Finding someone who likes to discover new places and join me in some traveling is a definite plus. Would love to do the bike ride from pamplona to santiago de compostela, do a trip in Colombia and Peru, and one in Chile and Ecuador or Chile and Argentina.
I like to be outdoors, riding my bike, walk, run, hike, etc. On weekends, I like to sleep in late, and do a hike in late morning. I also like to get together with family and friends for barbeque, watch games, or play cards. I have a large family so we get together regularly at one of my siblings' place or mine. World Cup or other soccer tournaments are an excuse to cook something and scream at the TV.
I like long weekends. Getaways to Vegas, San Francisco, wine country, santa barbara, and cabo are the best. I like live music in smaller venues--from jazz, latin jazz, salsa, blues, RB, etc. I listen to all sorts of music from electronica, to spanish alternative to buena vista (old Cuban sons and guaguancos).
I'm looking for someone who is down to earth, who is comfortable dressing up for a concert, dinner, or special event or just hang out watching a movie, college ball, or cooking. A sense of humor is important. Having trouble on this because I don't really have a type, but there is no denying chemistry, when its there, so I'm looking for that spark, the moment when you look into someone's eyes and you get butterflies in your stomach. If the spark is there, all that I've just said doesn't matter, right?

I am consistently trying to learn about things that intrigue me such as architecture, design, film, music, politics, technology, etc., i.e. contemporary culture. These interests are also shared by a close group of eclectic friends, from varying countries that I have known for the past 15 years. We all studied architecture, and consequently we all learned about each others differing cultural standards. Besides my architectural education, I feel very fortunate for having been exposed to so many cultures, but also for having had the opportunity to travel throughout the world to experience them for myself.
I have an incredibly supportive family. I am extremely close to my parents and my only brother, but also very close to my extended family throughout Mexico. When my brother and I were children, my parents sent us to Mexico for our summer vacations to visit our families, learn their customs and be exposed to a different way of life. I realize how important those formative memories have been in making me who I am today.
My search is a simple one, to find someone who can add to what I briefly described about myself and interests. I am looking for someone who is passionate about her profession, her family, and her life. Someone who is willing to teach and learn, and to ultimately grow together. However, having just gotten out of a long term relationship, I'm not quite ready to be committed. I would like to meet someone to spend time with and perhaps be friends.
