My life is put-together. I clean up well. Education, home, car, a career that takes up much time. As a rule I am reluctant to date my co-workers for fear of the inevitable fallout. Friends and accomplices come and go, all of us chasing jobs. Left Seattle in the rear-view mirror for Palo Alto, and then to San Francisco. I bike to work and to the grocery store, swim most days, and find myself satiating my wanderlust in walking all over this new city that is still revealing its little secrets to me. I guess in my natural state I'll always be an outside cat.
Update: Too claustrophobic to both live and work in downtown SF. Found a cool, shabby little carriage house back in Palo Alto. Now bike/train to work in the city. Just need a new library card and I'm set. And a sailboat to float on SF Bay - am secure in my stone-axe ways.

Your paycheck, regardless of the zeros attached to the end, is not your net worth to me, but rather how you might become indispensible in little everyday ways. Cook, knit, weld, paint, write? How might I learn from you? One should always be "project incomplete".
Always searching for that someone new and fresh. Someone with wit and intelligence. I'd like to meet someone different but put-together. Placing a profile here is always a bit of a sociology experiment. Will the results of this experiment be interesting, amusing, disappointing? There are too many quietly desperate people out there with pharmaceutical issues, still married or ex-boyfriend issues, all party no worky issues, etc. You get the idea. I seek the woman who does not possess these issues, but wants to find someone to share in a cup of coffee, a beer and a plate of oysters, some off-the-wall Netflix pick, a concert, a road trip. A little fun and companionship and the beginnings of something that just might last.

Date single man from Palo Alto, United States. What to say.....well, I work in the sports industry, but I do like many other things besides sports (movies, theatre, outdoor activities, etc). I have lived in 7 states, and been to 48 of the 50, would rather be hot than cold, am terrible at math (once got a C on a 3rd grade math test...when I was in college). I love movies, theatre, sporting events. I'm a lefty, I enjoy helping people (big fan of random acts of kindness), I live my life by 3 rules, love the beach and visiting home. I am not superstitious (I have to tell myself that every morning). I like to learn new things, meet new people and travel to new places. I have been very lucky with my career, lucky to have great friends and a fantastic family. I love italian food (who am I kidding, any food), baked goods (specifically anything in the donut family) and Thanksgiving dinner. I am a fan of a dry sense of humor and I appreciate sarcasm. I love movies, but I don't have one favorite movie (I can tell you that my least favorite movie is Children of the Corn Part 3: Urban Harvest). I think Disney World is better than Disney Land, I think Ronald Reagan was a fantastic president (however my political views are split down the middle), I believe that 80% of what you worry about doesn't happen, I love my job (most days).
I would say that a nice smile is an absolute requirement! Other than that I like a nice sense of humor, and also someone who can hold a decent conversation. A variety of interests are also nice. I am also a huge believer in honesty, loyalty, and kindness. I am not one to "play games" while in a relationship and I believe that communication is essential for any relationship to thrive (it should be enjoyable to talk to your significant other)......e-mail if you like!
