I'm usually a relaxed guy. I've been told recently that I'm not so laid back, but I suppose everything's relative. Perhaps I have hyper friends, so I tend to be laid back compared to them. Now that I write this, that actually makes sense. I still think I'm usually relaxed.

I'm just being up front here: I won't be the guy for you for a while (unless you take me completely by surprise, as I say in the first line of my profile) as I've been single for merely two and a half years after being with the same person for 15 1/2 years. Yes, I'm divorced and, no, I don't plan on marriage again. Eventually, I want to live out my days with that one woman, but not yet.

I am a bit old fashioned in a lot of ways, but fit in pretty well with the modern age. I have lived in Ireland, Colorado, Vermont, South Carolina and all over California. I've travelled extensively throughout Europe twice, canoed down the Colorado River in the searing So. Cal. desert 6 times, rock climbed the boulders in Boulder and make a fabulous potato soup : )
Music is also huge passion of mine. Like to listen most everything (except rap & metal) but favor ambient/irish/folky/ pretty/moody/atmospheric stuff. I am a total sucker for female singer songwriters, love bluegrass, and rootsy rock/americana too... But never veer too far from the classics like Van Morrison, Bob Dylan and Neil Young.
