First you should know I grew up in GA, so I open doors and say yes ma'am, it's just part of my up bringing. I've been all over the country and all over the world and it amazes me how different cultures can be, even here. Not everywhere shows the kind of Southern Hospitality and Chivalry I grew up with, especially to you ladies!!! I've received some strange looks when opening the door for someone, and was at first shocked when other guys didn't open the doors of the ladies they were with. I will continue to lead by example!! :-)
Soooo more about me. I love the outdoors and when the weather and time permits you can probably find me camping or hiking on a trail somewhere, most always I'm at least trying to do something outside, but staying in and watching a movie and bbq'ing is way up there on my list too. I try to stay in pretty good shape and exercise about 4 to 5 days a week running or going to the gym. For many years I worked as a Chef before I changed careers so I know my way around the kitchen and have an appreciation for good food, there is not much I won't eat or at least try once. I love experimenting in the kitchen, someone who likes to cook and enjoy the successes and laugh at the tragedies is awesome! But I also love to eat out and try new restaurants. I have a very stressful professional career which I take very seriously, but when I'm not working it's the last thing I want to be thinking about and I tend to let loose and the goofy, silly side comes out. I'm a very affectionate person and love making spontaneous romantic gestures.
As far as the type of person I'm looking for, it's some one that is affectionate, has a sense of humor, can put up with and appreciate my annoying romantic tendencies and goofiness - geezz!, loves the outdoors, doesn't mind getting dirty(you can take that the UHH "other way" if you want, but I actually mean "DIRT"), appreciates the finer things in life but doesn't always expect them and is willing to slum it on occasion. But mainly someone that will put as much into a relationship as I will, and accepts me for who I am.
