Professionally I am an intellectual property/entertainment attorney with a non-traditional practice (more on this later). I'm also a professional photographer. I photograph people, places and things that I find beautiful or interesting. I am active in a national trade organization for photographers which allows me to hang out with some super talented people, and gets me invited to gallery openings and the like.
I'm a pretty easygoing guy that likes to laugh and do fun things. I grew up in New York, but have been out west for more than 20 years.
I've been living by the beach for about two years now and really love it.
As for the law practice, rather than going to court and arguing with people (been there, done that), I facilitate transactions and consult with creative people and organizations to help create synergy in matters involving intellectual property, creativity and entertainment, and share my experience and knowledge in these areas with the public, through writing, advising, and speaking publicly on topics related to law and business.
I've managed to mix the two businesses to some extent. So far so good.

I grew up in Canada and I have been very fortunate in my life. I have a great family, amazing friends and a satisfying career in the entertainment industry.
