Meet single man from San Francisco, United States. I grew up in San Francisco, was a little bit of a wild child, went to College and lived in New England/ Boston for 6 years. I moved back to SF and have lived and owned/operated serveral small businesses from restaurant to Car washes. I have lived in Cabo San Lucas the past 12 years, owned a couple of restuarant/bars there and it was a great time of my life, but felt it was time to move on. I sold my places a year and a half ago and having been traveling pretty much since. Mostly In India, Indonesia, and Thailand. I am creative and enthusiastic and love opening new businesses and very much look forward to the next venture, I have some fun ideas.
I am a total foodie and love finding new spots. Traveling, music, being with good friends and the outdoors are some of the things I enjoy. I am young at heart, and can be wildly spontaneous. Yoga, Pranayama and meditation are part of my daily practice. My favorite outdoor activities are surfing, mountain biking, snowboarding but I've tried and like just about all of them. I'll try just about anything at least once. Growing up one of my dads favorite sayings was "don't knock it till you try it" and I try to live up to that. I steer clear of drama and phonies, and I feel sorry for pretentious people.
I am grateful to have an amazing group of friends from around the world, and am comfortable in just about any social situation. I practice and follow Eastern views and philosophies. I believe in non-daulality and that living life with all it's experiences leads us to self realization. I know who I am and what I want from life and feel pretty good about getting it. The fun part will be seeing how it all unfolds. I gravitate towards people who are real, happy with themselves, open minded, honest, enthusiastic, outgoing, fun and sometimes a little funky. While I live in SF I work in SJ but have enough flexibility to manage the commute and life. I do have 2 kids that live with my ex in Orange County and I do see them often as they come here or I go there pending everyone's schedules. I have been committed to them for the past 12 years and its getting a lot easier as they have grown up (soon to be 16 and 13).
Personally and professionally life is amazing. Confident but definitely not arrogant. Humble, as I have worked hard in order to achieve where life has taken me and realize it could all be stripped away tomorrow. I have a sense of humor and am funny in that sly sarcastic way, am very comfortable in any situation and make friends where ever I may be. I am a big kid at heart who is responsible, honest and caring.
I am a youthful 45 (and yes that is my real age) who is still very active on the basketball court or the gym. While it may be a diffult task to convince me to do a triathalon (swimming distances is not my forte), I do run, bike, kayak, golf, ski, hike etc. You name it and I will likely give it a try as I am open to new ideas and adventures. I am a great cook, a wanna be photographer, but not likely to quit my day job to go on American Idol or Dancing with the Stars, unless you have me under heavy influence of alcohol and AC/DC starts up. But at the same time I do enjoy down time, relaxing, a roaring fire, and even that weekend nap!
I love Tahoe and spend a lot of time up there skiing, hiking, kayaking or just relaxing under the stars. I love to travel and want to see as much of the world as possible. Weekend getaways are as special as week long adventures.

If I'm to try and summarize how I tick, how I continue to add to what is important in my experience of life, how I make my decisions, I'll put it like this: I'm a classically cognitive man blessed with a great depth for feeling my way through life. I'm expressive, authentic and genuine in a way that can be disarming, articulate, gregarious, curious, immensely open-minded, and a very humorous and unabashed goofball.
In a culture that is so geared for developing cognitive skills yet provides little formal guidance for understanding our innate emotional, intuitive, and spiritual nature, I may stand out as a rather curious blend.
