Date a soulmate from United States. I love the following quote a dear friend shared with me recently and think it’s very true…
“Kindness is more important than wisdom and, the recognition of this is the beginning of wisdom.”
The natural question now is how does one apply that quote? On my journey, my answer will always be, “I still have much further to go in gathering wisdom so, it appears I need to be more kind.”
I know… what the heck does that have to do with dating, divorce, who I am, what I’m looking for and, match.com? I guess, I just really like that quote. What’s more, I like that attitude...
The “practice of kindness” is a trait I’m attracted to in others and, something I strive to be better at myself. After nearly 9 years of divorce and, a few relationships along the way, I’ve learned kindness sure beats the alternative.
That said, I’ve made my fair share of mistakes. I try to learn from them and move on… my journey of self-improvement is life-long.
Definitely not my first time at the Rodeo which is match.com. So far, it's been a better means of meeting new friends than meeting the love of my life. Heck, I have no complaints because some of the people I have met here are steadfast and true friends I wouldn't have otherwise met. Actually, I think that's the best way to start and, if need be, the best way to finish... friends first, friends always.
Now, for some of the basics… I own my own business, love what I do and, work hard. I feel blessed to have great people working for me and, amazing clients in both CA NV.
My sense of humor and ability to laugh at life and, at myself, are my most obvious traits but there's more than meets the eye... Healthy living is an important part of my life. I try to eat well, practice yoga almost daily and enjoy being active outdoors. My favorite things to do are skiing in the winter and boat camping on Tahoe in the summer.
Of course, I have certain qualities and character traits I'd love to have in a partner but, regardless of how many "boxes I can check" off my list, chemistry and that "certain something", that "je ne sais quoi" rules supreme! It's elusive and very rare. I wish I knew what caused it and, unfortunately, there's no "search category" on match for it.
As far as what I'm looking for? Beauty, brains, humor, compassion, confidence, competence, class, chemistry and, connection. Yeah, there's more but, that's a good place to start.

I've learned to maintain a strong balance between life's responsibilities and play. I've succeed most of the time, but my openness for spontaneous adventures and activities can distract me…usually in a good way!
