Date single man from California, United States. First off, I find it very difficult to write about myself. I am more comfortable conversing to illuminate my thoughts. With that said I enjoy life to the fullest and never take things too seriously. Life is way too short to sweat things you can't control. My friends would describe me as laid back, successful, sarcastic, funny, competitive, loyal, intelligent, honest and able to laugh at myself because none of us are perfect now are we? I am an adventurous soul who isn't afraid to try just about anything once. I work hard and play just as hard. I am ambitious and focused on my career. I have enjoyed every bit of my life up to now but am finding it hard to meet people with my travel schedule so I am giving the Internet a try.
Values important to me include: honesty, integrity, selflessness, humor, loyalty, confidence, and self esteem . I am looking for a woman who loves life and laughter and is comfrotable in her own skin. A woman who is career minded, successful and loves to have fun in her free time. Someone who loves exotic beaches or mountain retreats, a great round of golf, a sporting event or just hanging out around the house and enjoying some peace and quiet with a great meal and a good bottle of wine. If you want to hear more about me or what I am looking for just ask me.
Meet a man from California, United States. I have a great job, wonderful family, incredible friends but perhaps a special someone will complete my amazing puzzle. I'm looking for someone who is caring, healthy(physically and emotionally)family oriented and will enjoy the small things in life as much, if not more, than the larger things. I'm honest, respectful, loyal, and dependable- hoping you are as well.
With hard work (and some luck) I have a successful business that allows spontaneous trips, hanging out at the lake or just getting a handful of movies some 'take out' and spending time away from "the rat race" with that someone special.
I like to work out, watch/ participate in sports, take one day mountain trips(unless we get lost on purpose and it turns into a weekend)Ski, hang with friend, spoil my Nieces/ Nephew and one sort of weird thing is I like to go to thrift shops/antique dealers...-if you like any of these activities, it would be a plus-
Honestly if we have that "spark" it doesn't matter where we are or what we are doing...
One huge deal breaker is you must have a good sense of humor, I love to laugh and make people laugh( I will pay for dry cleaning if you wet your pants---just a little---)
I realize I'm kind of all over the board with this profile, but after you know me, I think you will get me...
Excited to hear from you~
Date a soulmate from California, United States. Upbeat, positive, optimistic guy looking for a soul-mate to share my world as we work to enjoy as much Peace, Joy, and Happiness as humanly possible. I'm looking to start a new chapter in my life and look forward to meeting you and seeing if we are a good match for each other.
Meet someone special from California, United States. Boy, this is the tough part isn't it? How do I describe myself?
It's taken a period of self discovery but I've been able to take a good look at myself and I'm at a point where I'm comfortable with who I am and who I want to be rather than resigning myself to who I'm supposed to be.
So to start out with the standard cliche opening, most people who know me would describe me as a friendly, laid back, educated, man, with solid Midwestern values and strong work ethic. But in a trend you may notice as you read my profile, I'm a portrait of contradictions. While I am laid back, I always have goals, rather they be for the day or more long term, but I tend to keep them to myself and quietly go about trying to accomplish them with and underlying determination most people don't notice.
More about me: I'm a sports fan, (hey, I'm a guy, right?) but not a fanatic. What I mean is I love sports and competition, I had season tickets to Husker football and basketball, and ran track in college but I'm not one to sit and yell at the players and coaches. What good is it going to do to contantly dwell on the negative? I prefer to be encouraging and supportive while at the same time having a realistic understanding of what a team or player's strengths and weaknesses are and accept both. I'm not one to park myself in front of the television every night and weekend watching every play of every game I can find, with the notable exceptions, I love watching golf's four Majors every year and the NCAA Final Four.
I enjoy traveling, though due to business commitments, I probably haven't done as much as I'd like. I love the adult atmosphere of Las Vegas and try to go every year or so but at the same time, I can't wait to get back to Disney World and turn in the big kid I am at heart.
I love music! My tastes are all over the board and though I may hear a style I don't like, I am open minded enough to appreciate the talent the artists possess. I think Eric Clapton is a genius and have seen him live three times. I saw Barenaked Ladies a couple years ago and would love to see them again. Big Head Todd and the Monsters are favorites of mine. I recently saw O.A.R. Amazing!! Aerosmith, Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Kenny Chesney and Jimmy Buffett are artist I've seen the last few years and I wouldn't hesitate to see any of them again. I also love a good, local cover band at a little dive bar and I'm alway up for seeing some band I've never heard of because you never know when they are going to explode on the scene and I'll be able to say I saw them when...
When I'm home, cooking for myself, I try to keep it pretty healthy... lots of grilled chicken, grilled fish, lean beef, veggies and fruit. But when I have friends over or go out to dinner, I'm not going to restrict myself. I'm going to have a great meal. The rub here is that on any given day, a great meal can range from a great steak at an upscale eatery, to seafood on a beach grill, to a cheeseburger or wings at a local dive or a hotdog and beer at the stadium. A fine meal is far more than the food, it's the atmosphere and the company you keep.
The gym is my sanctuary. I try to workout at least five days a week either pushing iron or getting in some cardio. I love the process of seeing how my body can be changed and how it's in a constantly evolving state.
Now, what am I looking for in a companion. I am looking for an intelligent woman with a great personality and sense of humor. I like a woman who can think for herself, defend her opinions but in the end, doesn't always have to be right and can accept that sometimes it's okay to agree to disagree. I'm looking for an woman who doesn't need to be entertained constantly but also looks forward to sharing the journey through life.
If you've read this far and would like to know more or I've sparked your interest, please feel free to contact me. There is no such thing as perfect but you never know what two people are going to be a great match
