I'm a gourmand. I used to vainly think of myself as a gourmet, but then a co-worker taught me gourmand, and that's me. I like all kinds of good food. I like to sample every dish at the restaurant buffet. I like cooking and bake bread. My favorite bread of all time was Alpha Beta's Jalapeno Cheese Bread, but they were bought out and discontinued the product. The closest replacement I've found is the Schatz Bakery's Chili Cheese Bread, so, if you're ever in Bishop, buy me a loaf!
With women, I'm opposite. I'm very picky. I love great women. I've found several, so I know they're out there, but, alas, I was not their ideal match and so I'm still single. We're still friends, though, and I'm sure they would provide great references if you want some. They are bright, physically active, and are expert listeners. They've never made me feel stupid or guilty when I've talked to them, and believe me, I can say some stupid things. I enjoy talking to great women. They're fun.
I'm a playful attentive person. I love to make people smile. I feel great if I can help another feel great. The fun is contagious, and feeds off itself. Sometimes, I'll tease a bit, and do the unexpected for the comic effect. I am not a fan of roasts or that kind of humor and refuse to voice come-backs to wise-cracks. I do have a cynical sense of humor which I direct exclusively at the fates. For example, one of my favorite sayings comes from Stalin: "One death is a tragedy. A million, a statistic." Unfortunately, I believe Stalin was right. Sometimes, and just barely, I am able to feel the tragedy of a million deaths. Yuck.
And I am a thinker - that's probably why I love games so much. I read a lot and my favorite genre is science fiction, because it allows an exploration of ethics as no other genre allows. For example, in Battlestar Galactica, one of the soldiers sabotages his own ship to foil a plan to genocide the enemy. I am proud of him!
I'm looking for an attractive, smart, outdoorsy, sensual, caring, non-judgemental woman. She should view me as her equal in the world, and enjoy what we see out there. She is not a material girl and can be happy without the luxuries money can buy. But she knows their value and so allows herself a healthy indulgence in the good things on occasion. She expects her soul mate to face problems in their relationship as a team. She is not so modest that she keeps advice to herself when he asks for it, nor so confident that she dictates to her mate or makes his decisions. I love to walk barefoot in the rain, and to climb to the top of a tree just to feel it sway under me. I touch and listen to everything. I love snuggling and holding hands and spooning. Songs make more sense,coloursseem brighter,everything seems
to be more meaningful,you seem to look at the world with a different spectacle.lol.You laugh more and seem to walk with a bounce to your steps,cos when you feel down all you do is make a phone call and everything is better and you get the strenght to go through the rest of the day.Having them near by is all you crave for and in a room full of people,ur eyes search them out,their interest becomes yours and you share in their excitments,you think about them 24/7 and simple things like sunset,water falls,rain brings the thought of them to mind.You open up your heart knowing that it could be broken,but you experience alot of love and joy that every other thing takes second place and the risk seems insignificant to the joy you are experincing,you find that being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure that is so real it scares you.But you find strength in knowing you have a true friend and possibly a soulmate who will remain loyal
no matter the weather.And life is so sweet with
