I am very romantic person (of course the only to find out is to see for yourself), more of a giver than a taker.

Meet single man from Vista, United States. No drama here, but first thing you should know is that I am in the midst of a big career change. And no, that is NOT code for "unemployed and living in Mom's basement." Quite the opposite - I’m a stable, responsible, educated, accomplished homeowner with a great credit score. No STD’s, addictions, bankruptcies, outstanding warrants, whacko ex’s, random baby mamas, neglected offspring, or other skeletons in my closet. But I think the whole “transitional” aspect of my life scares some women away. That, or I’m really hideous to look at. I prefer the first possibility.
Anyway, I’ve had a great career in human services, helping people with disabilities become more independent. But I’ve always loved animals and volunteered for years with my local shelter and a spay/neuter program. I became more drawn to that field and realized if I could find a way to combine my passion for animal rescue with an interesting rewarding career, then I would be crazy not to pursue it. So, here I am, on the long path to becoming a veterinarian. My ultimate goal is to work in shelter medicine at a progressive humane society, helping homeless animals stay healthy and sane until we can find great homes for them.
Despite how crazy things will be for me for the foreseeable future, I really love my life and am so glad to have the opportunity to make my dreams come true. Tough as it will be, I believe it will all be so worth it in the end. Hopefully, there is a great woman out there with similar interests who is willing to consider a guy who is a little, well, non-traditional. No big whoop initially - a show, a hike, a bike ride, farmer's market, romping with the dogs, a nice dinner, that kind of stuff, and we'll just see how things go.
Oh, and I have three furkids who are the center of my life - Jett, Luna, and Darwin. Best dogs ever, and I'm grateful everyday to be able to share my life with them. Just thinking of them can make me smile even on the most difficult day, and helps remind me why I am putting myself through all this. I get a stupid grin on my face just watching their paws twitching as they chase dreambunnies in their sleep. So yeah, I’m a huge doglover, and definitely looking for someone who can relate to a dogcentric life. So if you’ve got issues with dog slobber or allergies or anything, you should run the other way.
