Date a man from California, United States. I have a very unique combination of life experiences and interests almost too bizarre to explain (e.g. professional saddle bronc rider, educated as an aeronautical engineer, now working in enterprise software). I'm a long time mountaineer and early Calif. kayak explorer that loves to cook, drink good wine, and put my feet up by the fire with a good book on a snowy day. The city is a fun social playground, but I am not interested in meeting people in bars or clubs. The mountains, rivers and ocean center me. Bright, intelligent people turn me on. I love to laugh. My jokes usually suck, but I laugh at them anyway. I like to think of myself as serious and organized, but my friends might tell you that I am more spontaneous and random. Politically, I consider myself an empathetic, liberal conservative with an open mind to an objective point of view (think about that one). I am extremely independent, and I look for that in a woman. I enjoy the quiet and tranquility of morning coffee on my deck in the Sierra. I grew up with a strong work ethic, and amazingly enough have been able to replicate it in my child-like need for play. I'm a pilot, and aviation is one of my many joys. I commute in my aircraft almost daily, but split my time in SF during the week. You understand that a good relationship strengthens each person by providing emotional, physical and mental support. You want a friend and a lover, and you know what compromise and trust are. You're intelligent, witty, and a well balance women. Your poise in a formal setting and playfully feminine nature at the oddest times wins big point with me. You have a good ability to express yourself openly, as well as listen and understand me. I am looking for someone that is openly candid about herself, can accept feedback, and stand on her own convictions at the same time. You love the fact that you're a woman. You're sexy, fun, and tell me when my jokes are bad (this should be easy). You have your own beliefs and understand that some differences are good. You can out ski me down a couloir, and then claim that your pack was heavier. When I need stitches or support you know exactly what to do. You love to travel abroad, fly to remote outdoor spas for a night under the stars, go climbing with a group of friends in Joshua Tree, or just stay in and watch a movie.E
