I prefer seeing great bands in dive bars or smaller clubs rather than big arena shows. Been there done that…and I’d rather “see” a band at the El Rey or the Roxy than hear one from the back of the coliseum, if you know what I mean. Love all kinds of music except country, but am an ardent fan of hard rock, old blues and classic rock. Everything from Howlin’ Wolf to Zeppelin to the White Stripes to Anthrax and everything in between…including Public Enemy, Jay Z and Ice Cube. Love discovering new bands and CD hunting in record stores…yes…they still actually exist.
