Meet someone special from United States. I'm third of four children, but 9 years younger than my next oldest sibling (oops). Dad was a career Marine fighter pilot. Mom was a career housewife and mother. Grew up mostly in Northern Virginia (with stints in North Carolina, Hawaii, and Rhode Island), college in Boston and stayed for 15 years, then moved out here 14 years ago. I was a serious nerd but seem to have burned through some of those brain cells over the years. I went through 13 years of startups and independent consulting, then ended up in the entertainment industry in LA and happy to stay.

Some other things about me:
1) I whistle - sometimes in random places, usually made up bluesy tunes, and frequently without realizing it. But I'll never unknowingly do it at a funeral.

6) Relaxing is always great when I do it, but there aren't enough hours in the day, so I’m not into regular blocks of time dedicated to vegging.
7) My sense of humor can be crude at times – but I have learned through shock treatment where to draw the line.
8) I took 10 years of piano lessons. You wouldn’t know from listening, but I did gain an appreciation for musical structure and classical influences on modern music. Still, you will find KROQ high on my presets in the car.
Meanwhile, here’s some of what I’m looking for in you:
1) Inherent respect for others' opinions. If you are rabidly fanatical about your beliefs and disdain others with opposing views, you are probably not my cup of tea, regardless of how obvious it may seem to you (or me for that matter) that the others are wrong.

3) Although physical attraction and intimacy aren't the whole picture, they matter. I don't have a "type", but I do like long hair and a naturally curvy yet trim figure. If you aren’t at home in a bikini, you should keep on looking. And we should want to be each other's ideal lovers...
4) Live and let live should rule the day. We should be there to add to each other's lives, not control them.
