Date a soulmate from California, United States. My name is Love. Over the years, I have learned how tough it is to have this name. For example, when I watched "Crazy Stupid Love" with my friends, when a broken heart comes to you and tells you - "Hey, you don't exist". Lol..
I am a Social Game Developer working for Disney. I am also an entrepreneur working on an Internet Startup. I want to open up a company in California one day and want to retire from full-time job by mid thirties and then do only the stuff that I wanted to do. I am originally from India. My life was too easy and I badly needed a challenge to make things more interesting. You know, new culture, new food, no friends, no comfort zone and most importantly new language ENGLISH. I still remember how I used to speak English a couple of years back. Yeah, you would not stop laughing. The biggest thing I learned after moving to States is - The moment you are in trouble you start learning.
I would like to tell you upfront, many people call me crazy. Here are their reasons.
- When I am sad, I try to stop being sad and try to be awesome instead. I have done this in the past when I lost job, had a rough day etc...
- I am almost never satisfied with my career. I have a great job and my dad asks me why I work hard on building a startup. My answer is - I want to retire from full-time by the time I am 35.
My friends call me a Story Man. There are just too many of them mostly happened in NYC area. I guess the "most embarrassing" things that happen in our lives are "the funniest". If I start talking about these stories you will laugh your head off.
So after reading all this, if you feel you can bond with my craziness I think I will be able to make you laugh a lot. That's my thing, I find smiles the most attractive in a woman and I would work as hard as I can to make it happen.
I have two favorite quotes:
- The moment you are in trouble you start learning.
- Breakups and Failures generally give you an opportunity to explore something better.
Meet a guy from California, United States. I am a very inquisitive spirit. I like to know how things work even to the tiniest detail. I love going to adventurous trips and taking photographs. I am a volunteer at the peninsula humane society for wildlife nursery.
I am pursuing a PhD degree in Mechanical engineering from Stanford University. So I have a bright future too !
Will talk to you more about myself later. Hit me if you also are interested in adventurous trips .. We can have a lot of fun together !
Date single boy from California, United States. One of my friends recently described me by saying I "go for it!" That's not to say that I'm reckless and careless, but more that I'm determined to make the best out of just about any situation, and, if I like something, I really run at it! I definitely get energy from improvising when things aren't "going to plan". I love trying new anythings. Food, music, drinks, places, etc...
I graduated from Pepperdine in International Business, so I love to travel and try new things. I've been to 17 countries and have a list of more places to go! I'm been working for an organic food company in customer development, so wellness is a lifestyle for me. I love my job as I'm not tied to a desk, and I get to travel around (see the sun!) and build relationships all day.
I love being active, and will take just about any excuse to get outside. I just recently got taken on for a volunteer at a local yoga studio, so I either doing yoga, swimming, or something else pretty much every day. That said, I also love my downtime, and my movie time too. One of the few reasons I do like the occasional cold, rainy day (or, for snow!). My family and friends are a huge part of my life, and are really important to me. I care, a lot, about the people I'm close with. I love meeting new people, but I only choose to be real close with a few. Honesty and loyalty are two of my biggest traits, and are traits I appreciate in those close to me. That said, I tend to be the kind that trusts until given a reason not to.
I have a little bit of a fascination with art, especially photography and music. Aside from listening to lots of different music, I love going to concerts, especially festivals, and even (try to) play guitar a bit. I'm very visual and experiential learner, so that explains a lot...
In short, I'm looking for an awesome girl who wants to hang out with an awesome guy!
Meet someone special from California, United States. The aspects of my personality that I am most proud of are my well-roundedness and desire to live life to the fullest. I'm confident that I'm the most well-rounded guy you'll ever meet. At this point in my life, I've never been happier being single, and I believe this makes it the optimal time to start a relationship. I hope to find someone special, with whom I can share my daily love of life and my constant quest for fun.
My open-mindedness enables me to enjoy such diverse activities as skiing, sewing/crafts, craft beer, 70s video games and pinball, poetry, computer programming, competitive powerlifting, Motown and disco music, making sushi, road-tripping around the country and expanding my travel reaches, playing board games, going to concerts, swing dancing, playing baseball and ice hockey, watching Spongebob Squarepants-- you name it, and I've either tried it or I'm adventurous enough to make plans to do it in the near future.
I'm also a well-mannered gentleman whose career pieces are coming together in fine fashion. I like to be goofy and make witty and/or stupid jokes, so I hope you have a childish sense of humor. I'm social, but not chatty or over-talkative, being able to enter any social setting and strike up a lengthy, in-depth discussion with anybody I choose. I am down-to-earth in terms of appreciating simple things, having little desire for financial/material wealth, and possessing strong domestic skills for a man, but at the same time, I am pie-in-the-sky in terms of wanting to make an impact on the world and experience everything it has to offer.
I'm in search of a woman who shares some of my interests and brings some new ones to the table that are deeper than shopping, gossip, and makeup. She should be social but not flirty, and confident but not arrogant. She should attract me mostly with her personality and not by exposing as much of her body that clothes will allow. I desire a woman who will help me learn and grow in all areas of my life, and someone I can provide for in the same ways myself. In that regard, being intellectually curious is a must, as well as being open-minded and happy to try new things. If this sounds like you, then shoot me an email or a wink!
Date a boy from California, United States. I'm a tech junkie at heart and I love the outdoors. I like to stay active in my spare time; tennis, bball, vball, football, frisbee. Picked up boarding (and barely survived a black already woo!).
I'm great at making my friends laugh, usually inappropriately at all the wrong things. Apparently they've devoted a twitter to my ramblings, I'm guessing someday it might be a book or web comic.
Most of the time I try not to take life in absolute seriousness. Perhaps a little naive but I believe in the run before walk approach. I strive to keep this adventurous spirit and childish curiosity towards everything.
My job takes up a ton of time (re:living under a rock) though I've always made time to take care of my friends and family. On top of all that I do manage to squeeze in fun time. Work fun and sleep - Of those three It's pretty clear which two I've picked. Working hard and playing hard does balance the life scale, kinda.
You?
- always learning
- humble
- carpe diem
- loves to keep active
- bonus points if you like to grub
Meet a soulmate from Palo Alto, United States. Better to ask for forgiveness rather than permission - its a cliche, but one which describes the way I've chosen to live my life. A mix of drive, insatiable curiosity, and occasionally throwing caution to the wind.
I exude the most passion when I am working with other motivated people to solve a problem or create impact. Whether it is cracking a tough research problem in the lab, building a non-profit with two of my friends, or installing solar panels on the rooftop of low-income houses, I enjoy making a difference in the lives of the people around me. After completing my PhD, I would love to start my own company or be on the ground floor of a small start-up.
I'd like to meet someone who shares my sense of humor and can also make me laugh. I enjoy new food and experimenting in the kitchen. I'd like someone who can be adventurous when the moment is right, but help me chill out from time to time. Is that you?
Date a guy from Palo Alto, United States. Looking for someone who is also fun! Down to earth, not obsessed with status or money, but enjoyes some of the finer things in life. Looking for a smart, confident woman. And she must fill up 200 characters in her description of what she is looking for.
