Date a man from United States. I am a teacher and looking for a nice lady as my long time wife.
I want someone to love me
For who I am
I want someone to need me
Is that so bad?
I wanna break all the madness
But it's all I have
I want someone to love me
For who I am
I'm shaking it off, I'm shaking off all of the pain.
You're breaking my heart, breaking my heart once again
I want someone to love me
For who I am
I want someone to need me
Is that so bad?
I wanna break all the madness
But it's all I have
I want someone to love me
For who I am
Meet someone special from United States. I’m having so much fun! I practiced as an architect in NYC for three decades, and at the end of 2008, when the economy tanked, I went first to New England for a year, then traveled the country in a camper for nearly a year, writing, taking pictures, and blogging about my adventures, which ranged from Katrina relief work and playing jazz in New Orleans (on an instrument I invented), to befriending Hopis on the First Mesa in Az and seeing the Kahina ceremony, to hiking in the South West (Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, Sedona,…) to renting a wood shop and building fine art furniture, first in Jerome Az., then eventually in Oakland CA for a year,… And now I’ve settled in Palo Alto, where I have been for a year and have a house under construction for one client, and another on the boards to start construction soon. Wow, there is no place like the Bay Area! It’s so smart, healthy, inventive, and beautiful, here. I feel so lucky, and I want so much to find a real partner with whom to share the amazing experience!
I am both silly and serious, funny and smart as a whip. I’m idealistic, sometimes profound and poetic, a frequent political activist for lefty causes, and I can build a house or a deck, put up shelves, and open jars. I love to talk about people and behavior. I like to play with words, and encourage others to be creative. I'm good with children and kids like me, of which I am quite proud because kids can detect anything false in a second. I love to jump into the task at hand. I’m communal and enjoy "nesting".
I value the small things: natural beauty, dark chocolate, good timing, modesty, and kindnesses.
I'd like to meet someone who is bright, funny, pre-smiling, curious, interested in things, sincere, patient, ...funny...
Also, I'm a very happy atheist, so if you pray or do astrology, you may be interesting, but that would be a pretty big hurdle.
Most of all, if we laugh together easily, we'll be off to a good start!

Meet single man from United States. I work in finance, teach part-time at a Bay Area university, and am especially passionate about the charitable work I do in our local community. I exercise with friends several times each week, eat healthy foods and love walking, hiking, biking, skiing, yoga, and meditating. I like exploring the Bay Area (indoors and outdoors), but hanging out at home is fun, too. I just returned from a fascinating trip to Bhutan. Friends describe me as smart, kind, considerate, loyal, and a good listener. I have a dry sense of humor and enjoy good conversations and laughing. Spending time together and some time alone are both important to me. I strive to be present, honest, self-aware, adventurous, and curious. Divorced for 4 years and now with my 2 kids away at school, I want to live life even more fully and find someone special to share it with!
