Date a man from United States. I have lived a very content, very happy life so far...comfortable place to live, enjoyable job, great family and friends, lots of varied interests and hobbies...but what I've realized that all that is so much more fun and meaningful to me when I can share it with a special woman. Quite simply, that's why I'm on match.com...to see if I can find her out here.
I am a (rare) San Francisco native, born and raised in the City. My City friends are horrified to know that I prefer the suburban life now...but that doesn't mean I have forgotten how to enjoy SF! I went back east for seven fun years of undergrad and law school but I knew that I always wanted to return home, and I've been here practicing law ever since.
As much as I'd simply like to say that I am an easy going, intelligent, positive gentleman with a great sense of humor who loves to laugh (all true, by the way), I'd be missing out if I didn't note all my happy contradictions: cool enough to listen to the latest hip hop but nerdy enough to look up anything on wikipedia (I am hungry for knowledge...what can I say); enjoys spending time alone but happiest when I'm in the company of my friends; handy enough to replace a garbage disposal or change an engine air filter or grill a tasty meal but more than happy to enjoy a homebody day watching movies; finds debates about politics or religion or science fascinating but also can dish about the newest movies or best TV shows.
At the end of the day, I'd love to share all these contradictions with a woman who enjoys her own happy contradictions. I enjoy a woman who sees life as an adventure, who can laugh at herself as easily as she can laugh at other things, and who is as comfortable in jeans and a sweater as she is in a dress and heels. I am turned on by intelligence, wit, a pretty smile, a desire to contribute to the greater good, someone who enjoys giving and receiving affection, a love of good music and good food, and it would be cool if she liked (or even tolerated) sports...but I realize I can't have it all!
