Date someone special from Rancho Bernardo, United States. Update: Next Napa Trip is set for the weekend of September 7th...will you be there? I need to burn up some airmiles before they expire!
I don’t have enormous expectations here, if I meet a “match” of a lifetime, great! A partner in crime? Fantastic! Or just a new friend? I’m good with that also. Why am I here..simply put, I enjoy living in Familyville (got burnt out of the downtown scene), mostly because I’m the hottest game in town for the ladies 60 and older, but I work from home when I'm not traveling, live alone, and have a private gym, so the options of meeting someone new are fairly limited, and I have the fullest spice rack of any dude, so spending time in the spice aisle is a bit redundant ! As far as my free time, I dedicate some time to coaching high school football (Yes, that means I passed a criminal, and a very stringent FBI and Homeland Security background check, and I don’t have tuberculosis), as well as supporting a couple of local charities. I enjoy trips to Napa, Laguna, and day trips to Temecula, but really want to see Cape Town. I enjoy cooking, live music, sailing, and spontaneous weekend getaways including extended ones to London, or Florence. I hit the gym 3-6 times a week, depending on the week, and not that I enjoy it too much, but its more of a necessary evil with my wine and food intake, I'm a movie buff, and lover of art...But, here’s a little secret about camping that most people don’t know, but out of the kindness of my heart, I’ll share….You don’t have to do it!
As far as sports, I love the Chargers but avoid Qualcomm Stadium (too old, smelly, difficult to get to, I could go on), but would rather see the Chargers on a road game, watched them play in London a few years ago, and Dallas two years ago at the new stadium. And once or twice a year if I'm traveling on a Sunday, love going to a "Charger Bar" in a foreign city, Chicago was a blast! When it comes to golf, love to play, but really not happy with my game lately. I'm totally a Phil fan and think Tiger is an absolute tool..
Regarding kids…I love kids! Don’t have any of my own, don’t know if I ever will. I hope to, maybe, if the cards of my life play that way. But I won’t be disappointed if I don’t. I am not the type of person that views kids as some sort of object like a brand new Tesla Roadster. With pets, what I have found is that dogs tend to put more of a limit on one’s ability to travel with some level of spontaneity, whereas with kids (especially if there is a shared custody), are much more flexible.…Don’t get me wrong I’m not comparing kids to dogs, just in the category of flexibility of spontaneous travel. Make sense?
Politics and Religion. You are born a Dem and become a Rep when you earn a living, and born a Catholic, then change your mind at some point....As far as my faith, I’m mainstream Christian, and no offense to my Catholic friends out there. Please don’t confuse me for someone who is religious, I’m the furthest from it, and frankly pretty much turned off by religion. It was once described by Marx as the opiate of the masses, I think he was spot on.
I am a man of my word, and my reputation is very important to me. There’s an old proverb that says “Your name is more precious than gold”, I take that to heart. I follow through on my commitments, I’m punctual and respectful of other’s time and emotions, I hope it isn’t too much to expect the same of my partner. I recently scheduled a lunch with someone that called me five minutes after we were suppose to meet and said they were going to be 20 minutes late, needless to say, that isn’t’ something I would ever do, and happily cancelled that intro. I get that things happen and emergencies come up, this wasn’t one of those times…I really took offense to it and it takes a lot to offend me.
Finally, if I decide to send you a note or a wink, and you don’t respond, which I realize that you’re under no obligation to do so, I’m won't be offended.
