I'm pretty sure you have already read these a few hundred times in all the other profiles. Words are cheap, but actions speak louder, don't you think?
I'm a family-oriented individual. Through thick and thin, I can always count on them, as they do for me. In general, my family and close friends are the primary reason why I have become the person I am today.
I'm also a sports fan, particularly football and basketball (my favorite teams to be announced at a later date... if and only if, you ask). I think it is great if a woman can "chat" about sports (more of a turn on if she can talk about the "particulars" a la - teams, players etc.).
Even so, cooking is my new interest. It all started with appetizers - coconut shrimp, bacon wrapped shrimp with lettuce, and crab cakes (I'm getting better with the crab cakes... though the first time I made them for my friends and family, they thought they were cup cakes - didn't they notice there was no frosting??). Cooking shows on Food Network help relieve some of my culinary woes and with a lot of practice, there is "light" at the end of the tunnel.
On another note, when I'm with someone special I like being open, adventurous, and most of all, a good lstener. If she has a good or bad day, I'll always be there and "listen" to what has occurred. Yeah, my friends say that is one of my strengths...
For my significant other, be curious about the world around you. You can take a joke and not be easily offended. Sarcasm is a zest of life. I'm up for trying new things, hobbies, that interests you... Nothing too crazy, I do have limits... Most of the time!
It really doesn't matter what we do on our first date. I am a fan of keeping things simple. So, having dinner, a cup of coffee or tea, a good conversation, and a walk is fine with me.
