In a competency profile study 5 years ago for work, I was described as being such a good listener that I am actually bad one. I have worked on that since but it can be telling.
It seems like I am always dog sitting... I have about 5 different dogs that I watch from time to time. I don't have any pets myself.
I chase fish. Last year, while working my 9-5 job, I travelled to the Trinity River every single weekend for 3 straight months. The river is my church. I find comfort in moving water and am drawn to the sounds and sights of nature. For me, I feel most at peace when standing in a river.
I love the sun, rain and snow. Laying in the sun is just plain rejuvinating. The rain is cleansing. The snow is tranquil. I am not a huge fan, excuse the pun, of wind but do tolerate it and have recently found moments when I embrace it, like when I am flying to the east coast! Breezes on the other hand are always nice.

I love to eat and can't remember the last time I stopped for fast food.
I am learning how to play golf. I have been learning for 20 years (big smile) I am still not very good but love the troubleshooting aspect. negotiating the track in the most efficient manner possible.
About two years ago, I was paid an incredible compliment. I was so shocked I couldn't even respond and literally just walked away. I would attribute my reaction to being humble and shy but suspect it was interpreted as arrogance.
