Me: Aeronautical Engineer, off and on pilot over the last 20 years. Enjoy biking, hiking, grilling food, trying new restaurants, a good glass of wine with a steak. Enjoy a good workout from time to time, but I'm not over the top with this -- though a good workout partner could get me to the gym more often. I enjoy a beer after an hour or two of landscaping around my home.
Have two great children, a son (13) and daughter (10), who are the joy of my life.
I have been actively working on a good work/life balance. I find that once you track/organize your time carefully you can do a very good job at both. Its not easy, but you only get out what you put in. It takes some effort, but that's how it goes for most good things in this life -- its not going to just randomly fall into your lap.
Been separated for 4.5 years, divorced for about 3 years, and got an annullment approximately 6 months ago.
Last hike: Sabino Canyon Phoneline Trail on 7/1/12 Best Hike: Mt Ranier. Years ago. Went up to around 12,500 ft. Crampons, lead roping, ice axe - the whole deal.
I usually save up for purchases rather than buying on credit. I spend 10:1 on my kids vs myself. Over the last few years I am sure that I've bought at least $100 worth of glitter. Or glitter glue. Or stuff covered in glitter. Soooo glad those days are just about over. Nice memories, but good grief that stuff gets everywhere....
I attend Mass at least every other week. I am open minded enough to know that there are many ways on this earth to gain spirituality... and my path is not neccesarily the only one. I think being open minded is a virtue.
I'm pretty good with mechanical stuff. I work on my own cars. Just something I prefer doing, rather than paying someone else a hundred bucks an hour. Same with stuff around the house.

On weekends, I try to leave my work behind, go on Harley rides, Rocky Point trips, getting out of the heat and camp in the summer, go out to dinner, cooking at home, go for a road trip or just relax and enjoy some down time. During the week, I've got my routine, it's basically going to work and getting some exercise after work if possible, my job can be very demanding at times so packing everything in is tough to do. I like all sports, hockey is my favorite.

I am a kind, positive, peaceful, simple, jeans and sneakers kind of guy. I don't own one pair of khakis or any ed hardy or loafers, you can't see my socks when I walk. Um, ok...so I am a city kid and pretty much know what does not work for me...so, if you party ALL the time, do drugs, ever find yourself in a mall during a workday in Juicy gear and sunglasses, are a "dancer", have an eyelash girl, take more than hour EVERYday to get ready, pronounce it "suposeBly", if you think you might actually be a witch or a vampire, have ex issues, other issues, have crave attention from other guys issues or have not smiling right now issues...we are probably not a good match :)'
