I'll start by saying that I love my life just the way it is. It might be nice to have someone around to go to a concert with, a movie, a walk or hike, to be friends with and talk to. I have my wonderful girlfriends, but it's nice to have a man around to share things with too.
This may sound strange on this site, but I really don't know if I'm looking for 'happily ever after' and I tend to like younger men as they just seem to have more in common with my likes and dislikes. However .. Someone my age who shares my interests would be wonderful.
I love music (Favorite band is Shinedown, but I have a variety of artists I like), I love my job, I am really enjoying my yoga classes with my friends and I wish I could say I was really enjoying my kickboxing classes .. but they are torture :~)

I think people's perception of themselves tend to be geared towards the person they would like to be rather than who they actually are. So I guess you will just have to find out for yourself "who I am" when we meet. ; ) Until then.... here's a little bit of insight:
I am easy going and find enjoyment in most everything. No drama or chaos. I love with an open heart and don't play games with anyone's heart or mind. Games are a waste of time and energy and are not a productive or honest way of starting any kind of relationship be it friendship or love. I try to be direct and honest and am very respectful of others opinions and beliefs.
It is important to possess certain qualities like being compassionate; empathetic and self-aware. Someone in my life would need to be similar to me in regard to, respecting himself and others, taking responsibility for his actions, and generally guided by some form of moral compass.
I need intellectual stimulation and laughter. I like dry wit and a bit of sarcastic humor, probably because I have a bit of it myself.
Since my divorce, I'm in no hurry to rush into a relationship.. However, it would be nice to meet someone with similar interests to spend time with... and if something developed down the road that would be great. :)
