Date single man from Arizona, United States. I have lived in Arizona for a major part of my life, but I am actually originally from the west coast......Long Beach, CA to be exact. I am an Engineer by trade and I truly enjoy what I do, where my career has taken me, and what I have learned along the way. I am definitely looking forward to what lies ahead and what the future has to offer. Although my career choice may more often than not make you visualize me as a very analytical type of person, I tend to be the kind of person that trusts his gut and follows his heart for many of life's decisions.
I enjoy trying new things, seeing new places, and pushing my boundaries for the sake of adventure. Besides, you never know when you will be trying your next favorite thing to do, eat, or visit, so why not go for it? Doing these types of activities with a special someone would definitely add a whole different dimension to the experience, and allow for unique memories to be developed no matter where two people go or set off and do. In the end, it's the memories we generate that we take with us, look back on, and look to continue to build on. I at that point in my life where I am looking for that special someone to set down this path on for new adventures, travels, outing, get-togethers......the list is endless really. I am proud to say that I am pretty old fashioned when it comes to treating a lady, and I want to demonstrate that being a gentleman nowadays isn't something that has completely disappeared with the changing times.
I am looking for someone that has a great sense of humor and can be adaptable and open to life's surprises and unexpected turns along the way. Someone that is willing to share in my interests, just as much as I would be in sharing theirs, as well as getting to know a bit of their world. Family has always been an important part of my life, so it would be nice if the person I'm shares the same view on family. Anything else is really just part of a person's individuality that makes getting to know someone an interesting experience.
It can all start with a simple hello. A great conversation with that special someone will always lead you to wonder why time flew by so quickly. You just never know. It would be great to hear from you, even if it is in fact just for a simple hello. :)

Today I have a good secure job, I finally own a truck, I have my own place, and for once in my life I feel like I've achieved stability. Even so, Plato may have it put best: the only thing we can be sure of in this life is uncertainty itself, and I am at peace with this reality. In all honesty, I do not know what great adventure is before me, nor where it will take me, but when it comes, I can only be sure that I will go where it takes me!
Needless to say, I'm seeking someone worthy of the title Incredible. Independent but not avoidant, educated but not arrogant, cultured but not crazy, opinionated but tolerant are all values that come to mind. I'm looking for the right person for a lifetime, not a nighttime. I'm not looking for a "Project" or a FixerUpper, I'm too old for a pig in the poke, and quite tired of the old bait and switch.

A friend once described me as “not safe for general audiences” for my ability to tackle uncomfortable subjects head on, and in the same breath said that I "have a heart of gold" that comes with that ability. Personally, I see myself as good-natured and emotionally stable with a deep burning desire to get after life. I have a love for sports, the sciences, and can even hold a decent conversation about world matters now and then. I am passionate about my job and work hard at it, but am apparently young for the environment I work in. This has created the paradox that is currently making it difficult to meet people inside and outside of work, but leaving me with enough time not to be a total slave to it, which is why I'm giving Match the ol' college try. Personal growth should be considered a virtue, as I’m consistently looking to develop intellectually.
