Date people from Colorado, United States. I’m a very outgoing person even though I’m kind of quiet at times. That’s when I’m screaming inside “Listen more”. HaHa. I need very little to be happy. I don’t make a lot of money, but I make enough. I don’t have a lot of stuff, but I treasure the memories in the things I have. I love the outdoors. I hate to close the windows and doors each fall. A fireplace in the winter and a patio in the summer are my favorite places. I exercise 5 days a week whenever possible. After being self-employed for 25 yrs. I’m glad I finally have the opportunity to take care of myself mentally and physically for a change. That is important to me now. Skiing is my favorite sport. I’m always a season ticket holder; however I’m a bit of a fair weather skier these days. I have grown addicted to biking it seems now when the slopes are closed. I hope to find that special lady who likes to stay active but enjoys stretching out on the couch just the two of us. I hope you will share with me the activities that give you enjoyment and relaxation. I’m looking for a companion that wants to take it slow. Someone that loves to be with me but also understands we need our “me time”. A lady who is very confident but someone who understands everyone enjoys being taken care of at times. I try to live life in the balance of work, play, relaxation, family, and friends. No one thing takes priority over the others in my life. I have tried to teach my children these values. They are the pride and joy in my life. They’re independent now, just as I want them to be. We talk all the time even though we are mostly spread out. We try to get together almost every year for at least a few days. I have been divorced for only a year but have been on my own for a few years now. Life has been very good to me.
The age number creeps me out. I work with almost everyone younger than me and am surrounded by college age people. They are so much fun. So once again I live life every day to the fullest and try to ignore that number. I love a good discussion and the exchange of different opinions. I don’t however argue/fight. I respect others feelings and try to learn from them. If you like a good argument I will bore you to death. I also never lie. That was a cardinal sin growing up. I’ve never given up on those values.
I love to cook. My mom says that’s because I didn’t have to do it every night raising those little darlings. Moms are always right. Right? LOL. Eating out is always fun though as long as there is some ambience and great company. I stay up with current events daily both locally and worldly however I don’t sweat over all those things I have no control over. This is my second time around on Match. People are fascinating if you have a positive attitude. We are all at just another curve in the road.

As for me, I am easy going and a bit of a “clown”, as I’ve always said: humor is the “key” to life…especially when it’s directed towards ME ! ;) ! So rest assured, you will see no drama within me, if / when we ever meet...just an easy going conversation. As my profile indicates, I am in above-average shape for an old guy like myself standing 6’ 2” and weighting in at 180 pounds. So, exercise is a priority, but I don’t harp on it…it’s just something I personally embrace.
