My Interests:
Music has been a huge part of my life since I was little. I was raised on big band music and classic rock. I played french horn for a year and had an obvious talent. Then at 15 I bought my first guitar. Bands like Incubus, Green Day, In Flames, Soilwork, 311, Sublime, Reel Big Fish, and MxPx among others served as my inspiration. I taught myself by listening and with a few pointers from a friend. I even joined a band and played a few gigs. Time and space didn't allow me to continue after high school. In 2007 on a trip to Europe I saw Tiesto by accident for his home coming party and thus began my obsession with sample based music. I became enthralled with all the different sounds in infinite combinations. I spent endless hours in search of new sounds and quality producers. A mixer and headphones were added to my collection and then I found Pendulum. I was hooked on their heavy bass and aggressive sound. With so much music available I became good and finding tracks with melodies and intricate or unique sounds and amassed a collection of the best. I have since played many venues and festivals around Florida. Having a proper music background and a deep interest in the music itself I avoided most of the ugly side of the scene. These days I like mostly Glitch-Hop anything with a bouncy beat, heavy bass, and a melody I can sink my teeth into. I'm in the process of refocusing and getting back to writing music.
Soccer has been a huge part of my life and something I enjoyed more than anything. I started playing when I was young and eventually captained my high school team. We went 14-1-1. My first job was as a Soccer referee and I did that until I was 18. I still like to play and go for runs but an ankle injury in my last high school game prevents me from playing competitively anymore.
