Date a man from California, United States. I'm 62. I've been cutting since I was 18. It's my escape. I taught for 33 years, 30 to 40 11 and 12 year olds. Sometimes I just have to get away from people. I like to be alone, but I'm not really a loner. I used to cut with an old friend. We cut up to his 83 birthday. He died, so I prefer alone. I don't need to break in another person who's on the end of a three foot long, sharp, spinning thing. I'm in reasonable condition. Slogging around in the mountains three or four days a week for five or six hours picking up heavy stuff kinda dictates some physicality. I hike and walk a lot. I'm going on a desert ram sheep hunt with my son in December and conditioning will be essential seeing how we will be operating from between 500 and 12,000 foot altitude differences.
I'm not looking for anything in particular. I do know that I'm through arguing about things that don't matter. I'm a good listener, and, yes, I even listen. I've spent thousands of hours on the water. I grew up on Lake Kaweah.I love a good joke, well told, and I know a whole bunch of limericks, but not all the time, if you catch my drift.

Have traveled quite a bit. Ireland, Prague, israel, turkey, morocco, Amsterdam, dachau/Munich, Spain, Paris, Medellin Colombia have been recent trips.
I am thankful every day for the life and opportunities that have come my way. I have a 22 year old son attending CU boulder majoring Journalism/marketing/snowboarding and surfing.
Have never smoked and do not drink alcohol but no problem with those that do. Just do not care for the taste of alcohol other than an occasional small glass of Pinot
My father and mother Theresa inspire me.
Long walks with cleo, my 8 yr yellow lab, listening to Pandora Radio, dive joints and upscale semi pompous restaurants both work for me. Laughing with friends, meeting new people,
watching sunsets and regular spinal adjustments are important to me. Spontaneous adventure/opportunities are a part of my life's outlook.
