I moved to this beautiful part of the planet when I retired a couple of years ago. I wanted to live some place that inspired me. I didn't know anyone here but I have lots of good friends now. Making a move forces a person out of their comfort zone and I learned a whole lot more about myself and who I am and what I want. It's invigorating to make a big change in life. I'm lucky that I'm sociable and have no trouble meeting people. Also glad I picked a small friendly beach village off the beaten tourist path. 2 miles from Morro Bay, 4 miles from Montana de Oro, 10 miles from SLO, 15 from Avila/Pismo... so I'm not far from the "action" when I want it.
I know this online dating scene can be tedious and time-consuming sometimes and fraught with land mines. You know what I mean if you've been out on a few blind dates. It takes a while to find out what a person is really like. But I find the whole process interesting, stimulating and educational.
I am totally flexible about age...everyone ages differently...Blessed are the flexible for they shall not get bent out of shape. I like being with a woman that laughs easily and goes with the flow.
