Athletics are not my strong suit. I tried water polo a couple of times, but the horses kept drowning.

I live by the ocean and love it. Every morning I get up and grind some fresh coffee and enjoy a hot cup of caffeine while enjoying the view of the blue Pacific. Does life get any better than that?
I am on an outrigger canoe racing team here in Dana Point. I started this a few years ago and have fallen in love with the sport.
We race all summer in 6 man boats and the last race of the year is from Catalina to Newport! What a kick!
My team travels to Kona for a huge race in early September,,,,,,,what a kick!!! ( Whoops, already said that!!! )
During the winter I get on my 1 man or my 2man boat and go out 4-5 times a week to keep in shape.
What a thrill to be on the ocean early in the morning!!

I recently returned from Rwanda where I was working for a number of years in the mining industry and developed The Green Program to bring transparency to the 3T Minerals Supply Chain because the kids you see in the picture really do matter. Some hard lessons in life have come my way since I because I thought the high-tech and automotive industries wanted transparency and cared about the kids and people as much as I do. I was wrong. It became impossible to stay because if you follow the recent news from the DR Congo, the children and other living persons and animals are made to suffer again...but the business of minerals flows with not interruption. But I digress.....
I am a hopeless dreamer but have worked hard at learning how to merge big business with creatively dynamic solutions that do work. But now is the time to give more time to seeking the possible in a relationship with someone who will not limit my search for the impossible but will join in her own search and create a relationship based on the impossible thought that love will only grow when and if we can turn the ME of each other upside down and create a WE that is based on a mutual respect for each other.
For me there are no perfect days or afternoons, evenings or nights. If you are looking to retire or have a predictable or well ordered "normal" life then another is your "perfect" mate...I am not.
I have not chosen mates, lovers and significant others well so I am overly cautious, especially now that I have just returned and am getting my feet on the ground here so do not be surprised if I am more slow to reply. I don't trust myself to choose well so I have given myself the freedom of time. If your in a hurry to hook up then I am not for you and I wish you well in your own search.
I need someone who is patient with me. I am who I am and will not change, except I change almost every day. When we really need the other during the down times and they withdraw because the money gets real tight then there never will be any up times.
