I've been fortunate to play the role of the professional student for much of my life. I've earned degrees in speech, psychology, two in photography, studied law, and served a stint with the Navy Air Force at flight school in Pensacola. I freelanced as a commercial advertising photographer in NYC for close to ten years and had studios in LA and SF. Early on I was raising livestock, farming, or building roads, homes, cars, and/or motorcycles, which provided me with a well rounded background and served as a precursor for the latter professions.
About the one I'm looking for...?I’m looking to meet the lady that rings my chimes. Preferably one that appreciates the arts, is curious about foreign lands and can be both practical and impulsive. A healthy lifestyle defined by diet and physical activities are a plus, as is an interest in golf, or not. I'm usually upbeat an optimistic and like to greet the world with a smile. Naturally honesty, openness, and a communicative spirit are essential. I'm always open to trying new things, at least once, and look forward to sharing the activities of another.
ADDITIONALLY, I have been blessed with longevity on my side of the family. I take after my mother, who's ailment and medication free, and is still driving at 98. She even has her own tread mill and uses it almost daily. Her mother lived to be 98 plus and only died of old age. I hope to connect with someone equally as blessed for a long term relationship. I'd just like to add, I sing with a semi professional chorus, hold memberships to SFMOMA, De Young, et al, and take in a symphony or an infrequent opera. Sailing on the bay gives a real rush, as does a motorcycle ride in the Berkeley hills or beyond. I'm very fortunate to play golf with a fraternal group of men that is truly special. I'm also active in my neighborhood as board chair of our community association, though I will not seek reelection. I'm the proud guardian of two Pugs, which has enhanced my life in many ways. I've made many new friends of fellow dog guardians and increased my own exercise regime beyond that of the gym, where I work out regularly.
