I've raised 5 kids (loved and loving), all now adult (21-37) and out of the house (phew) and have two grandchildren, plus one on the way too!!! I'm a home and rental property owner (accountable), travel trailer, camper, and motorcycle owner (adventurous). A longtime surfer who started at age 12 (risk-taker), was hardcore until I became disabled ('slightly'), and not yet ready to give it up (a little nuts?). After having been married practically two-thirds of my life (very lovable) and raising kids for more than half of that (dedicated), I'm looking for a friend/partner that I can get along with (agreeable), and maybe to travel some with... I'm liberal politically (very) and humorous too (at least I think so). I enjoy discussions of politics, science, spirituality, sports, travel, and self discovery (talks alot, [but a good listener too!]). I'm spiritual, yet not religious (new age). I enjoy quiet time and do meditate (reflective). I like to garden/work in the yard and on projects around my house (handy), read the morning paper and mostly non-fictions (well informed), take walks w. my dog (animal lover), and even watch some TV to relax (movies, Democracy Now, Link TV, Daly/Colbert, SNL, Nature/Discovery, Giants/Niners...). I'm in pretty good shape and stay relatively active (this could be stretching it). I quit ( /-) drinking liquor (and more) this past summer but don't begrudge others theirs (this is true). I sometimes eat meat but otherwise try to eat healthy, home-cooked food (enjoy cooking). I've traveled a fair amount (incl. overseas) and would like to do more... (only this time... with someone).
