Meet a soulmate from Saint Helena, United States. Even though it's 2012 I'm still old-fashioned when it comes to dating and romance. I would prefer eating dessert over dinner, steak over fish, pasta over vegetables, ice cream over fruit- but I don't!!!! I do make one of the world's best chocolate chip cookies you have ever tasted! If it comes down to it I can cook a fabulous dinner and do so for family and friends but after raising 6 kids over a span of 30 years I must honestly say it is not my favorite pastime but who knows maybe you could inspire me! I do have a zillion recipes! I love to travel and will go to Italy this summel but I hate to fly- go figure! I have picked lavender in Provence, paddled down the Sepik River in Papua New Guinea, stood outside the Library in Ephesus, visited the gates of Petra , and fallen in love in Paris! I love the excitement of New York , the warmth of Arizona & Mexico, and simply driving along a pretty country road with no definite definite destination or agenda.
I love to stay active and, since I use to work as an elementary schoolteacher, I don't mind chaos! You will never see me sitting in one place for very long- especially with my family and 5 grandkids to keep me young , happy and on my toes!.. Sometimes I feel there are never enough hours in a day! However, all that being said, I really miss the love and companionship that comes with a committed relationship- a relationship that I really miss having!!
I am somewhat a creature of habit and love my coffee in the morning, eggs on Saturday, blueberry pancakes and the New York Times on Sunday. I love the energy of the crowd at a Giants' game or the 49 ers, Pinot Grigio ( even though I make a cabernet), and freshly cut flowers. I seem to" collect" reading glasses mostly because I can never find a pair when I need them! My guilty pleasures when I watch TV are " Dancing With The Stars", any CSI., "THe Closer", "American Idol", "Harry's Law", The Firm, Modern Family and The Good Wife". I leave extraordinarily long messages on my kids' voicemail- which they complain about and I occasionally make a drive-thru to Taco Bell or In"N Out" and I love going to the movies and having popcorn and holding hands1

You love to take creative charge of an evening out and aren't afraid to do something out of your comfort zone. You know that I love to try new things- even if I may gripe a little bit at first!
