I am polite and prompt. If I say that I'll be somewhere at 8:00 then I'll probably be there at 7:45. If I say that I'll do something then I will do it. I have been described as "nice" (I hope that's a good quality). I try to be clean and neat. I like simple meals (meat and potatoes) and am not into gourmet foods. I am rather quiet, but am a good listener. I am easy-going and don't usually get very emotional. I am not particularly material. Outside of work I like to wear shorts or jeans. I am not much into traveling. However, there are a lot of places in the Western U.S. that I would like to visit. I am in pretty good shape.
My match should be independent. Ideally, our interests should have some common ground. It would be great if she played golf or tennis. If she enjoyed hiking that would be a plus. However, this is not a requirement. If we could just go out to a movie or go to a museum or do something that she wanted to do then that would be fine. It would be nice just to watch the same TV program.

I'm college-educated (an engineer, actually) and I like flying (licensed pilot), karate (black belt), well, I already went through some of the others.
I'm looking for what Croce called "a lifetime lover". I'd like to meet a woman with whom I have a level of trust, love, lust, a best friend ... I don't even know where to go from there. If you think we might have something in common I'd love to hear from you.
Now, I've got my pic out there, so I guess I have to say that I DEFINITELY want to see a pic of whomever I'm talking to...As I said earlier, intelligence, wit, a sense of humor (which is a different thing from wit, ), and of course the oh-so-hard-to-define chemistry. I feel that when two people truly click, there is a commonality - a meshing, if you will - that is one of the best things in life. Part of that is the physical attraction, part sexual fire, but a large part happens when two people are complementary to each other on a psychological/emotional level.
Ideally, I'd like to find Miss Right, instead of Miss Right Now. One more thing, based on my recent experience. Though I have to say that I'm very flattered at all the emails and winks I'm getting from all over the place (all the way out to the Far East and South America), please know that I certainly don't want to offend anyone, but my experience has been that long-distance relationships are really not viable. It's impossible to generate any spontaneity (Hey, Babe, I've got a couple of hours off. Wanna grab a cup of coffee at Starbucks......... on Wake Island?). Thank you for doing so, but unless you're planning on being in the LA area, I don't know how there's any way to move a relationship forward. I hope you understand, and thank you for it.
