My kids are adults, ages 19 and 21. They both attend Cuesta College and are artists. The Indian drawing is an example of my son's work. I saw the original that he copied in charcoal. It had a fraction of the detail that my son captured. The expression, texture of the hair, amazing. He's pursuing a career in architecture. My daughter wants to become an interior designer.

Recent travel includes Maui, Puerto Vallarta, Seattle, South Florida, Cancun, Cabo San Lucas in March 2010, Aruba in October 2010 and back to Maui in March 2012. With the SCUBA certification, tropical locales are really attractive for future travel.
I used to be more of a workaholic, but I am in recovery now. My travel goal is to take a week every three months or so and go somewhere, but I only seem to be managing a week every six months. I am also fascinated by history and enjoy traveling to historical places. When I get interested in a particular historical subject, I can loose a whole afternoon on the internet researching what happened, then I want to go there. Traveling is fun. However, I feel it's not so much where you go and what you do, but who you are with that really makes the experience worthwhile.
I enjoy a wide variety of musical artists that are mostly in the rock and adult alternative styles, but also enjoy jazz and blues. I love good driving rock for working out like Green Day, but Jimmy Buffett really fits for a beach trip. I like Train, Gin Blossoms, Guster, Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance to name a few other bands. Activities I enjoy include dining, dancing, music/concerts, good TV, movies, theater, museums, hiking, exploring, bicycling, scenic driving, traveling, weekend getaways, beaches, deserts and mountains and now diving. don't we all like much the same great So Cal activities. I see the same thing in a lot of profiles. We are all good matches activities wise.
I am not a big sports fan, but enjoy auto racing, mainly NASCAR. I like baseball some (Dodgers) and football some. Hockey games are fun to go to.
