Date people from Greenbrae, United States. My friends would probably describe me as a smart, friendly guy. I'm a bit quirky (I used to have a blog and podcast on the didgeridoo) and love to read. I believe in being helpful to my community so I do some volunteer work.
I cannot live without music: All kinds but mostly jazz, blues and world. I enjoy going to hear the Broadway musicals of the 20s, 30s and 40s put on by 42nd Street Moon in San Francisco almost as much as Yoshi's and the SF Opera.
I've gotten back into running lately and have been training to run the San Diego Marathon next month. I love to swim and used to do it to excess in rough water races as a member of the Dolphin Club. Nowadays I swim in a nice heated pool and bay swim maybe once a year.
I'm local although I've lived in lots of other places (Western Massachusetts, New York City, Portland and Seattle). I spent a brief time (5 months) living in Florence, Italy, too, where I took language and cooking classes.
I feel that life is short and that I want to have a much fun as I can before the string runs out. I don't mean that in any desperate way but I do want to stay happy and not squander time the way I used to.
And I'd like to share that state of "happy" with another person who is kind and caring, likes to be physically active and is curious about the world around her. I'd like to be with a partner who wants to discover more of what's great in this life. Please let me know if that's you.
Meet men and women from Greenbrae, United States. I am a person who loves to laugh and enjoys intelligent conversations about politics and world events. I have many interesting friends and love getting together with them or entertaining at home. No one loves a good movie more than I do. I am virtually extinct ... a southern gal who is extremely liberal. My friends would tell you that I am an extrovert, a leader, and an empty nest mom looking to see if there is a like-minded guy out there. I am especially attracted to quick-witted, intelligent men.
