Date people from United States. The "Golden Rule" has always worked for me. I try to be sensitive to others' feelings and apply diplomacy whenever necessary. That trait came in handy during my lengthy career in corporate public relations.
I accepted early retirement from my long-term employer and hired a financial planner. He helps me manage the funds that I have resulting from my pension buyout and sizable nest egg. Now I have the luxury of doing what I want instead of the typical 9-5, which is a blessing in this economy. I've got a lot of things going on in my life right now and I'd be happy to share the details with you if we choose to meet.
For fun, I enjoy playing tennis, riding my mountain bike, taking drives in my sports car, walks along the beach, movies, typical stuff. strangely enough, I also enjoy decorating my house. It's the first one I've owned by myself and that "pride of ownership" feeling is thriving. Never used to enjoy going to antique stores much but now I do.
My kids are adults, ages 19 and 21. They both attend Cuesta College and are artists. The Indian drawing is an example of my son's work. I saw the original that he copied in charcoal. It had a fraction of the detail that my son captured. The expression, texture of the hair, amazing. He's pursuing a career in architecture. My daughter wants to become an interior designer.
I'd like to meet someone to enjoy with me all the wonderful things that the Central Coast has to offer. I believe patience is a virtue, so taking it slow is good, but finding someone to grow old with is my ultimate goal.
I guess that's enough for now. Thanks for reading this far and good luck in your search!
