I work too much and need to change that. Now that the weather has cooled off I am thinking about the mountains, snow, snowboarding. I like daylight savings time where I can leave work and still have enough light to play tennis.
My weekends are usually filled with home improvement projects and some day that will change. Then I will make having fun a priority. But for now there is much work to be done. So I really don't have time to date. Why am I on a dating site? Good question. I guess I am hoping I will find someone perfect for me even though I am not quite ready to get serious. I am panning for gold. Someday I will strike it rich. I keep my eyes open just in case a nugget shows up in the pan.
In the meantime I like pretending and dreaming about the future. I have been on this site for a long time and know many of you have too. We have that in common don't we. It's a tough crowd. I have no trouble making friends in the real world. This is a whole different ballgame....one I am not very good at or fond of playing. I do like to see people leave Match, which might mean..."They found someone"....yeah! Or it could mean they gave up! I might say, "Oh, she is pretty and what a great profile....she will go fast and I am usually right. Then I wonder about what I would consider "keepers" who have been on this sight longer than me. What gives? Is this more about external beauty than it is internal beauty? For some it is. Is it more about unreal expectations and misplaced hope? For some it is. Is it more about saying no instead of yes? For some it is.
If you like to play tennis, ski, snowboard, surf and all the other usual stuff...Chargers, camping, cooking, church...all San Diego has to offer.........you know where I live.

It's always amazed me how we all know men/women think with totally different 'operating systems' yet many become upset when the other sex doesn't 'get' them. I beg of you to please understand -- I don't/can't think like a woman. Furthermore, though it's always appreciated when it happens, I don't expect you to think like a man.
That said, women are far more well equipped to speak 'man-ese' than men are to decipher WomanSpeak. :) I've often invoked the analogy of computer operating systems to illustrate this.
Men are lumbering PC systems, whereas women are Mac based, robust and massively intuitive. Make sense?
A woman should get pretty much whatever she wants from her man, as long as it doesn't violate his core beliefs. I've never understood men who don't attempt to make this a reality.
Meanwhile, and for transparency-sake, I wanna include a personal bias/caveat.
If you've never been married AND never had kids, I will, by default, assume you're all about you. It's not fair of course, but it's my experience. That's not to say you and I wouldn't be a match made in Heaven, as I remain open minded. Just know that you'll come under more scrutiny.
