Date men and women from California, United States. I am 63 and posted a picture from a few weeks ago at my great nephew’s 8th birthday party. It was the most fun I’ve had in a while, with a big group of friends and family. I am into today and the future and am up for anything with the right person. I am not divorced, but reconciliation is out of the question after years of defending myself from attorneys. Just when I think it is finally over, there is another delay but it will end, maybe later this month, and the freedom will be exhilarating. I hope to establish a foundation with someone special who is committed to enjoying the future based on lessons from the past.
I have been successful in almost everything and will make the remaining years the time to enjoy all that I have worked for, along with someone like me who is fun, fit, accomplished and energetic - loves the outdoors, people and having plans to look forward to involving family, friends, travel, events. I can retire any time but work has kept me focused and involved.

The bottom line for me is finding someone mutually attractive with a solid character who consistently treats others the way they want to be treated. Without that, I make the best of it with friends, family and hobbies including golf, reading, piano. I enjoy my yard. It is great fun to prepare and share good meals. I enjoy pets but my only ones now, in a way, are the hummingbirds that fight over the feeder. I like the low maintenance for now, free to go if a good idea hits, to travel and make up for what I have been missing.

Well there,s not much to tell I like to travel and do so when I can and like to do things on the spur of the moment , love to walk my dog, take him everywhere with me. Other than that I am a musician and play with a 50.s band ( guitar ) and love the social end of that,I,m a light drinker, non smoker. I,m looking for a person who does,nt want to sit home all the time and watch TV all the time or drink all the time or argue all the time, someone laid back and not high maintainance. Romantic, passionate, affectionate, spontaneous, adventuresome, but not to the point of jumping out of an airplane or tying rubber bands to my feet. But, I would like to fly a real airplane. Quiet evenings at home are always a plus, too.
I would like to share life with someone who is affectionate without smothering, passionate, loyal, honest, able to stand up for herself, spontaneous, sociable, adventuresome, takes an interest in her partners passions/hobbies including sharing them with him as I will with hers. Although I have an active lifestyle, I enjoy downtime at home. The garden is good therapy. I bowl, sometimes competively; motorsports as a spectator, crew member, participant; enjoy ballroom dancing and West Coast Swing; hunt; fish; camp as long as civilization does not come with me. A child of the sixties, I am not a sterotypical hippie, nor a red-neck. I traveled all over the world in the Army and as a civilian. A trip to Thailand next year to see a brother who is needing a visit is planned. I would love to share that adventure. A drive to nowhere in particular locally is one of my favorite things to do. In almost thirty years in the Sacramento Area, I have found a lot of places to go and things to see. A visit to the North Coast where I grew up could last two weeks and you would never see a day's destination twice. Plus the spontaneous, nowhere in particular Road Trip is a couple of packed suitcases, tank of gas, munchies, tunes.
