Date a woman from United States. My youngest son is a freshman at The University of Alabama. I am very busy with work and graduate school. I work for the government and find it difficult to make the time to meet new people. I never thought I would do this but I think this is a sign of the times and is an excellent tool to network and find new friends and meet people that you never would otherwise....in the privacy of your own home. A sense of humor is so important to me! I think folks forget how to laugh sometimes and worry too much. I like a little goofiness and silliness and really don't want to be around people that are so serious all the time. I enjoy simple things like hopping in the hot tub with a cup of coffee on Saturday mornings, then pouring over the paper. I love SEC football. My youngest son is a freshman at the University of Alabama. My oldest one graduated from there and my middle son just graduated from MTSU with honors. I own a home so I am constantly doing projects at home plus I enjoy cooking for my family. I spend time with my elderly mother in Florence when I find the time. I do love to dance but realize most men don't really enjoy it that much. Of course, that is not a show stopper but would be fantastic to share that with someone. I enjoy a cocktail on occasions but it is not that important to me. I have just as much fun without it. Of course, just lying on the couch watching a good movie or curling up with a book is a wonderful way to spend an evening.

Looking for someone to spend some time with just hanging out and enjoying life. I have two grown daughters,(the oldest lives in Gainesville, Ga., the youngest lives about 5 miles from me (along with my only grandbaby, a little girl born 2-11-2009). They are the loves of my life but they both have their own lives now, so I need a friend or maybe more.
I would love to find a man that would be as good to me as I am to him. He would occassionally offer to cook dinner or help with the dishes(Sharing a chore makes it less a chore). He will find that when he is doing something (from cutting grass to working on a car), I will offer to help if I can. We can cook dinner together, then do dishes together, then sit together and talk or watch a movie or the sunset.
Again, I'm just looking for a man who will be as good to me as I am to him.
I am not here looking for a bed partner (I have volunteers if that was what I wanted). I would love to find someone to spend quality time with, getting to know each other first, becoming good friends and if something else develops then so be it, and if not then we both have someone to do things with. Would like to find someone to laugh with, to cry with, to live with and to die with. Maybe that's a little too much to hope for but we gotta dream, right?
