I find comedy in every situation, it makes life more interesting. I live by the golden rule. I'm looking for someone who likes to have fun and try new things. I love to travel and I am spontaneous; meaning, when I travel I don't always plan ahead. If it's a beautiful weekend, I can just throw some things together, grab my son, and head to the beach for the day or weekend-I am a very playful person and I think I need that in my life, otherwise you would just be annoyed. I am a romantic. Love the night sky out in the country. Also, I love football season! I love to cook! I'm always experimenting with an Ina Garten, Rachel Ray, or (dare I say) Emeril Lagasse recipe! Meet someone special from United States. Describing yourself should be easy but sometimes its the easiest things that we struggle with, I am an outgoing and kind-hearted woman looking for a man who is "how the fairytale should be." I want someone who is loyal and honest. I am a very outdoorsy type of person who wants to find a person who enjoys being active with me. I would love to find a man who is not intimidated by a strong woman, but who would like a woman to take care of him, as well and who has a college education. I want someone who I can give my heart to complewtely and someone who appreciates it when I do. I would love to take care of the man in my relationship, but I would love to be myself in the process.
I have not subscribed yet, so I can't do the email thing yet. We are in the process of moving to an apartment near the school that I will be doing my student teaching at. As soon as we get settled, I will subscribe to match and go from there. I am not saying that for the right person I wouldn't change my mind but for now I want to get back out in the world and smell the roses. I have been buried in school work for almost 3 years now. I do take time out to relax but those times are not frequent enough. I am hoping that once we get moved, we can take my dog down to Pirate's Cove (LOCAL beach place) some, lots of walks at the parks around town, maybe catch an Auburn game this year and hopefully do some deer hunting. I am even going to go get a bicycle and start riding with my daughter. There is a YMCA next to our new place, so I plan on getting back in the gym, 1st its amazing how great you feel after weights and the cardio and also as a bonus it only makes you look better. I am also planning on catching lots of local highschool football games. I imagine that a good bit of my students will either be on the football team, cheerleading or in the band. I love going and supporting my students (they love it and always act better in class when I make time for them). First thing I want to buy when we move, ( a grill).......a perfect afternoon this upcoming fall...(Grilling out and auburn football on the T.V.) I love the holidays too, especially baking and decorating for them. Halloween will be fun putting pumpkins out and dressing up. I am not sure if high schoolers like candy but I will be one of those kind of teachers who on holidays gets all excited and has fun with her students. I also hope this is the year for my daughter to do good at gymnastics. She is a Level 4 competitor, so we will be doing 6 competitions this year and unfortunately they clash with my other 2 favorite things (hunting and football). This might all be too detailed but if you can see what my life will be like then you can see better if we are suited.
So what do I see in my future.
1st- I see myself graduating with my Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education/Social Studies. I hope that one of the local highschools offter me a job teaching and possibly a coaching position with cheerleading.
2nd-I hope that we find a really good church to belong to, I don't have family here so between my new school and a new church, I hope to find lots of "family" to enjoy life with.
We are not originally from West Alabama but it is so beautiful here. We are so close to the water, the beaches and hunting. I do not see myself ever going back to Dothan, Al (my hometown) but the future is something I can not predict either.
As far as kids, I only have my 11 year old daughter. She lives with me fulltime. As for more kids, I can't. Would I turn down someone with kids, probably not...but the kids must click. Step families are very hard.
. Looking for someone out going that wants to have a GOOD time! It's all about having FUN! Looking for someone I can watch sports with and not get mad when I scream at the t.v.! But then when I have problems I want someone I can talk to about anything.

About me...
I must begin with the crux of who I am and that has everything to do with my commitment to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is the most important thing to me. Everything I do hinges on his will for my life.
I am dependable, loval, very laid back. I can be very serious at times but I also love to laugh and have fun. I treasure my closet family and friends. I love to sit around with friends and family just laughing and hanging out.
I do not really have any hobbies except being a reality TV junkie but I am working on finding other fun things to do with my time ;). I would love to learn to golf so if you are good at it maybe you could teach me =).
I have been able to travel to Haiti for mission trips and I expect that I will be able to visit other countries in the future.
I would love to meet someone who shares my love for Christ. I would love to meet someone who loves people and wants to see others succeed at what they love to do. I want to meet someone who has HUGE plans for life. I want someone who can enjoy the small things in life. If you like to travel that is always a plus. I do not take my life living for Christ lightly. Some people out there may but I do not- for Him I live, for Him I die.
. I'm a happy single gal who's interested in finding someone else (of the male persuasion) with whom I can spend some time and develop a relationship. It's that simple. Apparently one can no longer hope to date by hanging out at the local book nook (library, Barnes and Noble), nor by getting milk and cookies at the grocery store.
So, here we are. Reduced to writing an essay on "Me". Yay.
I'm here for what I hope are all the right reasons. I'm looking for a good man. I'm still young enough to hope to find someone to love and share my life with. And I'm old enough that I worry it may not happen. I do want to have a family. I have nieces and a nephew, and although I absolutely adore them, I would like to actually have a couple of my own children. Family is important to me.
As for myself, well, I pride myself on being hard-working. I love being a veterinarian. Helping animals and people is a fantastically rewarding job. I do enjoy a good time outside of work. My interests may be basic--some pursuits outdoors as well as indoors--but they're not boring. Just in the last couple of years alone, I've been zip lining, whitewater rafting and even embarked on a 2 week survivor course. I just recently returned from hiking for 2 weeks in Scotland. I've completed two Triathlons.
Although my views tend to be more liberal, it seems they're based on solid traditional values. I grew up living in the country, and find that I miss it. I believe Sean Connery was the best James Bond. I'm a fan of all things carbohydrates. And sweet tea. I love 60's and 80's music, and, I must confess, pop rock. Brown is my favorite color. I believe in recycling and trying to help the environment. These are things that are me.
I'm not into the bar scene, and the only clubs I enjoy come from a deck of cards. Maybe that's because I prefer hanging out in smaller groups, with friends and people I actually care about.
I know that I'm looking for someone with similar interests that we can share, but also someone who has his own interests and can be independent. I value my own space and personal time. I believe in being a man of your word (woman, too, for that matter). Although I consider myself a spiritual person, if you feel that you're a "warrior for God", then we're probably on different paths.
I find a good sense of humor and a clever mind incredibly attractive. Honesty and compassion earn my respect. Chivalry and tenderness I can't help but hope for. But chemistry is also important. So it doesn't matter how good you are on paper; if there's no spark, then it's no good.
