I am pleased with my life's accomplishments, some of them exceptional - Charles Dickens would have loved my marvelous adventure. I am fortunate to have gained a broad, serendipitous and unique range of experience and education. I am a second generation LA native. Corner paper boy at 14, auto mechanic and out on my own at 16 and a business owner at 22. I then engaged in sales, manufacturing, service, accounting and management professions along the way and was lastly a Union President. I am now actively retired and training as an actor and having a fine time. By necessity, my humor has grown with every new experience!
I have a modest, comfortable, artistically inclined home that I regard as a warm sanctuary. I am financially responsible and fortunate to have lifetime medical insurance. My teeth are great and my dentist is wealthy!
I enjoy art, literature, classical and artful music, some opera, theater, film, design, science, the world of ideas, food, nature, anywhere near (mostly not on) water, impromptu adventures, day trips and longer travel when possible. And continuing that theme (enjoying life), I moved to CA. about 5 years ago. I guess you could say that I'm not afraid of change. I love the serenity of the beach with its beautiful sunsets and its ever changing sky/water paintings. But I also enjoy the vitality of Santa Monica's "main street" environment.
