Date someone special from California, United States. I am a California native from Huntington Beach, I am 5'9 1/2 so I put 5'10. I have a wonderful family and a great group of friends who are incredible in their own unique way and am lucky to have them a part of my life.
I have a great career that has been incredibly generous to me and some careers just seem to choose you. I work very hard and absolutely love what I do and get to work with a wide range of people of all ages which is so wonderful and keeps me healthy, happy, on my toes! I am definitely one of the lucky ones who actually was able to turn my passion into a wonderful stable career.
I prefer quality over quantity and have learned the smallest gestures can sometimes have the biggest impact. I have achieved a lot of wonderful things in my life and been to many places around the world, but am really looking forward to sharing more in life's journey with a wonderful woman. I believe in actions speak louder than words and life is relative, but the only way to get to know someone is by meeting them and see if the chemistry is there. What I know about me is that I am definitely a great guy, young at heart, intelligent, fun, down to earth, trustworthy, loyal, confident, have a great sense of humor and have a lot to offer the right woman.

Wow, I bet by this point you are sick of reading profiles rife with spelling errors and dopey cliches and looking at all of the goofy pictures. (guys with their shirts off, pictures of their sports car, camera phone in the mirror, hat in every photo to hide the baldness, etc...) This whole thing should be fun, but it does feel like a bit of a chore sometimes, doesn't it?
So pencils ready and lets get to it. Here are a few quick two word descriptions about me to get the ball rolling.

My pictures are all current. My height and age are accurate. I have never been married and I have no children. I was engaged once a while back, but I do not harbor any negative feelings for any ex's. I don't bring that baggage with me. It's a clean slate.
In the interest of full disclosure, for those that are allergic, I do possess a 20 year old stinky cat. I've had her since 1991, so apparently that makes me an animal lover. I'd like to get a dog someday, but not while I'm in an apartment.
I do have many hobbies. Some of which -- writer, reader, web master, guitar player (I still suck at this), etc, etc, etc.....
Now this is the part where I say all that boring cliche stuff such as hiking, exercise, laughing, stupid things, wine, new restaurants, beach, cooking, traveling, and blah. You've read this in every other profile so I'll just stop there.

Here is one minor, cute (or extremely annoying) thing about me. For some reason, when I stand in line at the store, I always tend to get into the longest one. Even if I get into the shortest line, it always ends up being the longest line. I don't get it. I mean, I really don't.
And since so many women mention it in their profile, well yes, I do know the difference between their, there, and they're. Though I haven't a clue about where, wear, and we're. :)
Now I guess I'm suppose to say what I'm looking for and try to weed out people from emailing me whom I may not be interested in. That's just kind of stupid, isn't it? What if I accidentally weed out someone who I might actually hit it off with. I don't know why people do that. I am fully capable of reading your profile and deciding for myself if I think there would be a potential connection. I don't need to spell out a list of requirements.
Now onto the first date. I hate to break it to everyone who says it's not a date but a meet and greet. Guess what? It's a date. It's a blind date, but a date. Even if it lasts only thirty minutes, it's a date. And a meet and greet. But a date. But if it makes you feel more comfortable, lets just call it a dental appointment.
And as for that date (dental appointment), just something simple. A bite to eat or a drink. I guess we both need to make sure there is no bad breath or lazy eye happening before we move onto something more fun.
