I am passionate about the beauty around me. I have a 5 acre 'mini' ranch and love living in the country. The green of the trees, the wild life....... deer hanging around even though they eat all my roses, and the fact that the stars seem to shine brighter at night. I enjoy visiting big cities and exploring new places but living away from it all makes me happy. Although nothing tops living with the one you love.
I enjoy short weekend trips. Heading to the coast, spending time at the beach listening to the waves. Going wine tasting and antiquing. Being spontaneous.... traveling without a timetable and a plan. Going to dinner and seeing a good movie. Reading romantic classic novels, Wuthering Heights and Pride and Prejudice to name a couple. I like music, 50s and 60s songs are fun and I usually know all the words. Sometimes it's not so much the decade but the artist or group. If I like them I like their music.
I've worked for Triple A Insurance for many years and I am grateful that my job has allowed me to remain independent even when times got tough. I work on projects and most the time I can work from home and that's a good thing.... even though I have to deal with internet access over satellite! One of the joys of living 'rural'!!
I am ready for a new beginning and a new adventure. I'd like to start making memories with that special someone.

I enjoy imformality as long as it's not disrespectful. I try to communicate clearly & appreciate being taken seriously & encourage anyone to ask for clarification if they're not sure of my meaning or context. I enjoy a man who communicates the same way. I've had many male friends over my lifetime; but I believe I take each person individually and am not embittered by a few unhappy experiences. I prefer to call to mind the better relationships, at the same time using the less happy experiences to learn from. It's all good, as they say. I tend to proceed very slowly in new relationships; so if you're an impatient type, you won't want to meet me. However, if you like nature, animals, hiking, camping, movies, reading, plays, great conversation (most of the time) and just a very true & accepting friend with a rational view on life, I'm your woman.
