I am a healthy happy beautiful (inside and out) loving courageous giving intelligent Christian Woman. I am not into religion, but I do have a wonderful relationship with the Lord. Meet a woman from California, United States. I look 15-20 years younger than I am... I have a Grandson 9 yrs old, a Granddaughter 13 years old and we enjoy our weekly Grandma day, every Tuesday. I'm so lucky to have a dozen brothers and sisters, and yes, family is very important to me. I tend to work way too many hours, not leaving much time to socialize these days... but since I am solo, it keeps me occupied. I am sure that will change once I meet my match!
I juice and believe in using herbs/vitamins as prevention to staying healthy and could be why I look and feel so much younger. I am in excellent health and try to cook healthy. I walk fast... I don't run. Since I have really bad knees, I do yoga stretches and other non-impact exercising, or use an elliptical glider. I only wear comfortable shoes; after several knee surgeries... no more high-heals for me. When taking my Shepherd for her daily walks (gingerly downhill) I really do enjoy the burn going back up the steep mountainside... it gets the heart racing as well as any aerobics do.
Although I love being active, the life of the mind is a really big thing for me. I'm way introspective. I like to solve problems and that shows in my daily work as a Realtor, which I love doing. Even after going to college, I am self-taught in many diverse subjects. I once chose a class called 'metal sculpting’ which is another name for lost-wax-casting, so I ended up a goldsmith as a fun side-business for over a decade…and that means I know how to use small tools well. I enjoy many forms of Artwork, mostly oil painting, water coloring, sometimes acrylics, pastels, charcoals, pen ink, cartooning plus dabbled with stained glass years ago. Would be nice if I had more time for my Art. My favorite past-time is Artwork... which explains my intro.
I am very passionate about the things I do and feel... that's me. Never too busy to enjoy the moments that take my breath away. I'm at peace with myself and able to smell the roses. Simple things make me feel good: like sipping hot cider on a cold eve, friends over to play music and sing or BBQ, or watch a movie while sharing popcorn with my parrot. I'm a softy for animals! I sing corny songs to my Parrot because she loves it. While I work from my home office listening to loud music; at break-time, you might catch me dancing with my doggie while my Parrot makes sound effects to the beat. My Shepherd likes to go with me and I usually let her, plus she keeps me fit. I have a Down-to-earth personality with a matter-of-fact character. I can be rather silly and always can laugh at myself easily.
I look forward to your variable passions and I believe we should never try to change each other, just marvel in our differences. We will be great friends first, not political, not super religious and it's probably a good idea to have a few similar interests. Looking for a positive relationship where each partner adds something to the relationship and we grow closer over time. If there is such a thing as a perfect match, then you would laugh at my flaws.
