Meet someone special from California, United States. This is the best time in my life. I have never been happier and more content with my job, my twins are grown, my car is paid off, and I love my home. Having someone to enjoy life with would be icing on my cake. I find tremendous pleasure in traveling, experiencing different cultures, savoring the foods and participating in the local events. One of my favorite trips was to Moorea. I went SCUBA diving to feed the sharks and the large, friendly sting rays. My trip to Africa was an amazing, life enriching adventure, I must go back! During spring break (2012) I climbed the mountain in Machu Picchu, Peru. What an experience, physically demanding, but spiritual. Getting to the top of the mountain and looking down on the lost city of the Inca, that appeared so small from that height, was a humbling experience. It made me realize how small we are in the scheme of life and how every day is to be appreciated. I want to appreciate the beauty of life with a guy who understands and apprciates this wonderful life we are given.
Of my careers, law included, the best is my current one as a special education teacher. It is very rewarding when I turn on the light of understanding. My friends say I am a compassionate, kind and loving person who stops at nothing to help friends and students, even if it means demonstrating a concept by falling off my chair, acting like an animal or dancing around the room. Actually, I use teaching to have fun with the students. When they laugh, I know they are enjoying learning. Adventurous, spontaneous, loyal, fair, humorous, energetic, and fun loving are some adjectives that describe me. I believe that life is a beautiful gift that should be savored, appreciated, experienced and embraced. A guy with the same philosophy about life is very attractive to me. I like getting up early to walk before work and going to bed late.
Exercise and healthy eating are important to me. However, that being said, I devoured a box of Reese’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies in 15 minutes (shh don't tell my trainer) followed by guilt, a chocolate smile, then much walking on the treadmill to undo the “damage!” The undo was not nearly as much fun as it was to do! To do or not to do, the answer depends on what is the "to do." I can think of a lot of things to do that are fun! For example, you burn 26 calories every minute you kiss-Now that is a much better way to burn CALORIES than an hour on the treadmill! 1560 calories/hour by kissing or 520 calories/hr on the treadmill. I vote for cookies and kissing!!! A double FUN to do!
My music interest is varied, R & B, classical (especially Mozart-visited his home in Salzburg and Vienna), soul, country, soft rock, jazz and easy listening. I like concerts, the Hollywood Bowl, museums, walking, boats, fast cars, hot air balloons and listening to music at home while sitting on my sofa watching my tropical fish swimming around. It would be really relaxing with someone to cuddle with while watching the fish. Another thing that is enjoyable is for couples to physically connect with each other in many ways, touch, hugs, holding hands, kisses, PDA, a note in the briefcase, a call during the day just to say hi, to name a few.
