Date someone special from Canyon Country, United States. I'm me. My ideal match would be himself. Together we would be communicative, respectful, in love, enjoying life. Cliche---looking for best friend and partner for the last greatest adventure in life. And so forth (walks by the beach, sense of humor, and what everyone else says ;). All of my photos are current. While it looks like I have short hair, I do not, it's tied in the back and reaches mid--back. I promised I would cut it when it turned gray. Still waiting ; ) I am in concert with mother nature.
I am accomplished and well educated and now retired (wellll....mostly). I am kind and considerate and have a quick wit and a slow fuse. I am a quick study as well. I believe in possibilities and understand the impossible. I meditate daily. I am serious and playful. I am aware of the world around me, both local and global. I am looking for my complement, not for compliments. I am hoping for not only game and set, but, match. I am a baseball fan, most specifically the Dodgers. I have multi-game tickets. I also enjoy theater and have season tickets for several venues. I enjoy train travel and my favorite spots are New Mexico and Washington's Olympic Peninsula. I enjoy travel and like to camp and hike. Each year on the first weekend in June I visit Yosemite, usually staying at Wawona, but sometimes in various places in the Valley (last year at the Lodge). This past Spring I visited New York and was able to get tickets to climb to the top of the Statue of Liberty. Incredible. I reached out one of those tiny windows and transferred the kiss from my hand to her weathered exterior, blessing her, feeling blessed. I have visited most of the United States, but have more to go and have my passport ready for European travel. I write fiction and nonfiction. I am going to "Rage, rage, against the dying of the light" and not "go gentle into that good night". I am looking for that someone with the spirit to accompany me on the rest of the journey and laugh with me and enjoy along the way. Asking the Beatles' question: will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I'm_____. : ) Thanks for reading.
