Currently I'm semi retired and spend time gardening and helping with landscaping at the nearby ranch plus trimming a variety of horses for friends and associates, a skill I picked up over the years and love. I sometimes trim after hiking out a mile or more, using a nipper and file, sometimes using an angle grinder there at the barn.
I live in a tiny house in the redwoods, a way off the paved world. The changes I see in the world, political, environmental, financial are something of great interest to me. A Transition Town group is starting in this area.
