Date a man from California, United States. Newsflash from Laguna Niguel, California …..
Undercover Edition revealed today that Mr. “H” decided to break with tradition and write something interesting in his profile!
“H” claims “Gone are the days of boring profiles!" No more will you read "I’m a fun easy going guy, who likes sports, long walks on the beach, ….blah, blah, blah.” Boring!
Women all over the country have been responding to this interesting, new and unique approach.
“Oh my God! It was the first profile I’ve seen that didn’t mention how the guy loves puppies, is as comfortable in a pair of jeans as he is in a Tux, or that didn’t have a cheesy (bare chested) picture. This guy rocks, I’m moving to Orange County! ……Kim K in San Diego
Undercover Edition has learned that “H” can be spotted around Orange County on Sundays cycling at the regional park at dusk, sipping the latest aged grape at Las Brisas in Laguna Beach, sampling exotic cuisine at intimate bistros, or occasionally cruising into the sunset in his motor home.
Previous love interests have admitted that “H” loves slow dancing, socializing and intimate dining, while remaining open minded, non-judgmental and non-jealous. CNN previously quoted him as saying “I'm never at a loss for words, but I always listen first. I adore public displays of effection, and I think it's super when I see older people holding hands”.
Our foreign correspondents have verified that when he travels from his Laguna Niguel home, he travels with valid passports from more than 1 country. He has been spotted snokeling just off the shore of Maui, Cabo San Lucas and various spots in the Caribbean.
One paparazzi recently snagged a photo of “H” sipping a Pina Colada at the Hog’s Breath Saloon in Key West, surrounded by close friends and party goers. He was also rumored to have been spotted flying through the Mexican rain forest on a zip line hundreds of feet up in the canopy. Our photo desk even has a picture of him meeting Oprah’s guy, ...Stedman Graham.
Rumor has it that “H” was last seen at several Temecula wineries, sampling their latest creations, before arriving at Woody’s Wharf in Newport, in a Iimo full of friends.
Some say that he has been known to organize large social groups for fun and entertainment. One reporter remembers a Christmas party, where 200 of his friends chartered a huge paddlewheel riverboat, and joined the Christmas Parade of Lights in Long Beach.
Sources at Fox close to “H” reveal that he is somewhat of an entrepreneur and hasn’t had a verifiable employer in over 15 years. Yet he still seems to donate to charity. They’re not really sure what he does but he seems to take have unlimited flexability in his schedule. And we’re sure he’s never been inside a cubicle. When we Googled his name, we were shocked to find him on page after page.
Man of Mystery, Entrepreneur, Mentor to Young Children, Adventure seeker, Scuba diver, or just plain Enigma? We may never know for sure!
One thing is for certain, whenever he is spotted, he is the subject of plenty of female attention, and the people around him always seem to be having a good time!
Unidentified sources reported that he is drawn to flirtatious women who are fun loving, adventurous and social. These women are usually between the ages of 48 and 58, and are always financially self sufficient, as he is. These sources issued the following caution “Mr. H is looking for that chemistry spark! If his date doesn’t look like her pictures, she’s buying the drinks until she does.”
This is the News Desk at Dateline, in Laguna Niguel. Back to you in the studio. ;-)
Meet single man from California, United States. Nice guy, kind, good friend, supportive, likes to be active and have fun. Passionate, romantic, sensual, caring (and looking for someone caring), and loyal. I normally live on my 65 foot sailboat and love to sail whenever I have a chance. I'm not living on the boat, though, during July, but should be back in August. Talk about bad timing :-(. Looking forward to sailing out to sea and exploring exotic ports with the love of my life (or meet her there if she doesn't like to sail :-)).
I like to sail/travel in comfort. My boat is not much different than living in a good size condo in an ongoing earthquake (just kidding about the earthquake :-)). It has three cabins (bedrooms), including a spacious master cabin, a nice big galley (kitchen), 32 inch flat screen TV, nice sound system, two heads (bathrooms) with showers and one full size bathtub, full size washer/dryer, running water, etc.. It doesn't have a hot tub or a dishwasher, but I'm planning to get those someday too. :-)
Also, I want to be clear that I don't live on a boat because I need to. I'm comfortable financially, I own a house, in addition to the boat, that I currently rent out, have a decent income, work for a large stable company, have good job security, and have good investments. I live on my boat because it's been my dream ever since I first started sailing in my 20s. I can't tell you how much I enjoy the life aboard, but I don't deny that I might just be going through a phase (we're still allowed to go through phases as we get older, aren't we? :-)). I have lots of really good friends, many who also live aboard their boats, and we form a fun and happy community with an active social life. I really like entertaining on my boat.
Note, I've generally been very athletic, particularly running, most of my life until my marriage started going South a few years ago. Sadly, my physique also started heading that direction, but I'm well on my way back ever since my marriage ended. I'm a member of a health club and work out there several times a week. The picture of me wearing the green flowery shirt is about 6 months old and shows me at my worst, but things have improved a lot since then. The picture of me on my boat wearing the yellow shirt is about 4 years old. The picture where I'm wearing the mariner's survival suit is about 2 years old, but who cares, right? :-)

Date men and women from California, United States. Although I’m more of a jeans kind of guy, I am also comfortable at the occasional formal affair. During the summer I enjoy the water, either sailing or relaxing on the beach with a book. I enjoy cooking and BBQing on the weekends, but I also like to explore San Diego’s great restaurants, dancing, and listen to live music. I love to travel, and I have tasted Sherry in Madrid, captained a sailboat in the Greek Isles, and seen the Rolling Stones in Singapore. So if you are happy throwing your clothes in a bag for a trip to the mountains, if you can ski downhill and hike uphill, maybe we should meet. Email me and say Hello!-- or drop your handkerchief
Meet someone special from California, United States. Well, the main points first - I am a lover of the arts, dogs, and great cuisine. Love to go to new restaurants and especially like ethnic cuisine. I have season tix to the SF Ballet and also love live theater, photography, and art galleries/museums. For outdoor activities I like to golf, bike, hike, and LOVE playing at the beach with my Golden Retriever, Riley. Lucky me - since I work at home, he keeps me company throughout the day. Went white river rafting not too long ago and had SO much fun!!! Also, took a performance driving course at Infinity last year. Again - had SUCH a blast!!!
Not into camping. The closest I'll get to that is a great bed and breakfast NEAR the woods. LOL!
I own a branding and design firm and LOVE what I do for a living. I have a GREAT sense of humor and am very romantic. And, if you hose me off, I clean up pretty well!
With the aid of some good genes, I have done a very good job of staying in shape. I recently changed my diet to the Paleo Diet. LOVE it and I do feel great, But I would do just about ANYTHING for a very large slice of chocolate cake!
Really enjoy traveling. Went to Italy for 3 weeks a few years ago. SUCH an amazing country!!! I plan to go back soon! France again as well. Am very passionate about NYC. Was just there for a week. Music/B'way, Central Park, art and amazing food! Can hardly wait to go back! Every time I go I have a total blast. It would be perfect if I met someone who would liked to take the occasional weekend trip!
Me: caring, loving, giving, savvy, fun, funny, a great kisser!, and someone you can totally count on. All in all, I am a very good man. :-)
As you can see, I have never been married. Let me tell you why. Actually, I have been engaged twice. Each time to a wonderful woman. In both cases it just a matter of timing. Each time our lives were not in the right place to get married. The great thing is that I am still best friends with each of these women, and I am blessed to have had them in my life. Since then I simply haven't found anyone I have fallen in love with. But, I experienced and lived it twice and I am forever a better person having known and loved those women.. The great thing for their kids is that I am a GREAT 'Uncle Steve'. The kids LOVE me!!! So do their husbands! I feel very blessed.
Here is a good example of what type of uncle I am. Each Christmas I fly to Portland (where they live) and take them and their parents to the Nutcracker. Last year I even picked up the kids in a horse-drawn carriage! To see the amazement on their faces when they walked up to the horse and petted him was magical. Then, the horse and carriage trotted us all through Portland - to brunch and to the Nutcracker! Am I a great uncle or what! :-) The best Christmas present I could ever receive is just being near them. To be surrounded by their love is a wonderful experience.
Meeting someone who has great sense of humor (I have one!) and is fun to be with would be a HUGE plus. Someone who is genuine, honest, forthright, and caring. One point that is critical - it's extremely important you love dogs! Actually, that is a must.
Regarding looks, I like the 'girl next door' type. Genuine beauty inside and out go a long way with me. Pretense and materialism are not big on my playlist. Just have a good heart, are fun to be with, and someone who has the ability to love deeply.
Also...and this is important...you need to like dark chocolate. I have tried dating women who liked milk chocolate and it just never worked out. LOL! :-)
If this sounds like you, drop me a note!

Meet single man from United States. I'm just a simple guy looking for that special lady.
...To have a girlfriend forever. Even if we we married, I'd want her to continue being my girlfriend...always working to keep,...and never losing that intimate spark.
I was blessed with that type of relationship, and it developed into a beautiful marriage. ( It required a lot of work,...but all things that are worth it, do.) She passed away five years ago.
I know what the beauty of a relationship can be,...and I'll do everything I can to keep it strong. ( ...But,...It takes two...)
Now, I tend to concentrate on my work. When the work day is over, the rest of the time is mine. When a holiday comes, I'm off to to see the sights. If I can camp there, better still.
Summers are travel times in the states, or somewhere in our world.
I try to keep fit. ( Ni malo ni feo soy.)
I'm pretty smart.
I keep a small garden.
I'm not cheap.
I like the outdoors.
I like to draw.
I'm right where I should be in this time of my life.
I'll do my best to keep you laughing throughout the day, and smiling during the night.
Date men and women from United States. 7/1/2012
First, I want to thank those of you who wrote saying my previous essay succeeded in producing the laughs that I intended. It was kind of you to let me know that I had given you some momentary pleasure of the type I could indeed provide without having to know you for a month or so first. ;-)
However, the time has come for me to address serious matters that may preclude your consideration of me as a lover or a friend.
As I previously implied, the lingering recession has finally terminated my software business .. and though I have diligently sought regular employment for some time now, it’s clear that, miracles aside, it’s likely not going to happen in these times.
I’m down to just a little money, which I now need for food and other basics so that I can last for .. as long as I can.
I am grateful to my friend who took me in while we hoped for the best, and to my family who’s done the best they can while fending off wolves of their own.
So I have decided that I will use my remaining time to help others suffering similarly, as though most still making ends meet are somewhat unaware of and isolated from the scores of millions of Americans who aren’t, those of us who battle with the potentially deadly disease of financial destitution are keenly aware that we are not at all alone in our challenges.
Indeed, according to an April 2012 report, more than 45 million Americans now struggle to survive on food stamps, many having been without a roof over their head for some time now.
This is simply unacceptable in a country of promise and hope such as ours.
For reasons I don’t want to elaborate here, the current wing political parties in power are inherently unable to address the matter.
So I have decided to make an effort myself to find people who calibrate at the center of the political spectrum, people who are tired of the damage wrought by even the lesser of two evils, and see what can be done about bringing the great majority of Americans to a position of policy and decision-making power in our country.
To that end I have created The Centrist Political Action Citizens of Orange County, to find others like myself with the desire, abilities and time to meet up and begin the process of ending the lingering effects of the recession that likely only we will be able to accomplish.
The difficulties so many of us face now are simply not going to go away on their own, and if we do nothing they will only get worse .. to the eventual detriment of every American.
So I am going to do what I can, for as long as I am able, to help the people of our country, all the people of our country, get back on their feet.
Having read so many profiles here over the years .. I’ve come to accept that I’m not what you’re looking for.
I mean, I always hoped I’d find a youthful, pretty woman who’s smart, kind, idealistic, hopeful, caring, playful, someone like me, with the health and energy genetics and deeply-loving heart to share these wonderful times of our life the way we both could only imagine.
But, I have no money for dates, no real vision of my economic future, no home in which to entertain you, I'm $20K in debt, my car’s on its last legs .. and despite good friends telling me I’m rich in so many ways that truly matter to a beautiful heart in that all too elusive great and loving relationship .. well, talk about a miracle – that’s what it would take at this point for me to find the love of my life here.
And I totally understand. We’re here to make the best choice we can from the selection available. We’d be foolish to do otherwise.
So I wish all of you well in your search for the one of your dreams.
May love smile on you and yours, for a very long time.
Indeed, love just did for me again, as today I was blessed with a beautiful baby granddaughter!
The tears of joy are priceless!
Chip
Meet someone special from United States. I enjoy experiencing life through the eyes of another. Whether it be traveling the back roads of California or discovering a little village in Northern Italy.
I look forward to uncovering that special bottle of wine where we just look at each other and say "wow".
I want to laugh together. And I want to cry together when we just saw a terrible movie and realize that we wasted $20.
The ideal match is that special person that after knowing each other for two weeks it feels like we have known each other for years.
Date a soulmate from United States. As Don Draper once said, "I'm from the midwest. We were taught it was impolite to talk about ourselves." But...
For me, and hopefully with me, the journey is the reward. I can pretty easily entertain myself, and hopefully you, just walking down the street. When you take a fresh look at things, the most mundane things become interesting. As a semi-retired architect, I've had the background, and now have the time, to do a lot of wandering around.
You are, no doubt, an intelligent creative, energetic lover of good food, fine wine, and sunset walks on the beach between trips to Italy. (If there's a woman in all of Matchland that enjoys beer popcorn while watching a documentary video, please let me know.) While I like nothing better than discussing deep ideas, or whatever you just heard on NPR, I'm also fairly shallow. I actually like LA. I probably over-rank looks even more than the typical guy, while being even less romantic. I've never even aspired to be an alpha male, tending to be more of an observer than a mover or shaker. It seems listing shortcomings, or even actual age, on Match is fairly unusual. I tend to get along best with women about 10 "match-years" my junior within 10 miles of home. Being unrealistic about ourselves or our expectations makes it even harder to find a good match.
Seems like anyone who says "sixty is the new forty" doesn't have a very good memory. One good thing about growing old is that you get better at saying "no" to things you really don't want to do. Doing things you like doing is an amazingly simple recipe for happiness. Wish I had thought of that sooner.
On the other hand, I've lost a step or three. Best to think "athletic and toned" - "for his age." At least one friend would say I lack refined (if not basic) social skills and am too brutally honest. I have that common male malaise, fear of commitment. And that other one too. But if a good (if not great) time is being had by all, can it really be said I "suffer" from ED? That's a lot baggage to put on Match, perhaps too much. But I might pleasantly surprise you.
Thanks for reading, and good luck with your search.
Meet people from United States. I have owned my own business for over 30 years. My divorce was final a year ago and I think I have finally gotten to the point where I want to date. It has been a very lonely time in my life but my 3 kids helped out a lot. I love golf and camping. Especially with someone I care about. I am very spontaneous and go to places like Vegas and Hawaii in a moments notice. I prefer my woman not to work if anything because I don't deal with tight schedules very well! LOL! Its ok if you do work however! :-) I am a very loving and affectionate person who likes the same. Can't stand "cold fish".
